FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino issued a somewhat chilling statement on his official X account Saturday morning that no doubt has millions of Americans asking what it could possibly mean. The post comes days after the Jeffrey Epstein ‘client list’ blow-up and announcements by Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard’s declassification of documents that implicate potential criminal activity involving Obama-era officials in the ‘Trump-Russia collusion’ hoax.
“During my tenure here as the Deputy Director of the FBI, I have repeatedly relayed to you that things are happening that might not be immediately visible, but they are happening,” Bongino’s X post began.
“The Director and I are committed to stamping out public corruption and the political weaponization of both law enforcement and intelligence operations. It is a priority for us. But what I have learned in the course of our properly predicated and necessary investigations into these aforementioned matters, has shocked me down to my core. We cannot run a Republic like this. I’ll never be the same after learning what I’ve learned,” the post continued.
“We are going to conduct these righteous and proper investigations by the book and in accordance with the law. We are going to get the answers WE ALL DESERVE. As with any investigation, I cannot predict where it will land, but I can promise you an honest and dignified effort at truth. Not ‘my truth,’ or ‘your truth,’ but THE TRUTH,” he added.

Earlier this week, Gabbard doubled down during a White House press briefing Wednesday in accusing the Obama administration of pushing a “manufactured narrative” about Russian interference in the 2016 election.
“There is irrefutable evidence that details how President Obama and his national security team directed the creation of an intelligence community assessment that they knew was false,” Gabbard said. “They knew it would promote this contrived narrative that Russia interfered in the 2016 election to help President Trump win, selling it to the American people as though it were true, it wasn’t.”
