President Trump stated on Tuesday that the U.S. knows the location where Iran has hidden Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, even as Israeli bombs continue to fall and Iranian missiles continue to bedevil the Israelis.

“We know exactly where the so-called ‘Supreme Leader’ is hiding. He is an easy target, but is safe there — We are not going to take him out (kill!), at least not for now,” Trump wrote on social media. “But we don’t want missiles shot at civilians, or American soldiers. Our patience is wearing thin.” In yet another post, Trump called for Iran’s “unconditional surrender.”

Also on Truth Social, Trump wrote, “We now have complete and total control of the skies over Iran.” He added: “Iran had good sky trackers and other defensive equipment, and plenty of it, but it doesn’t compare to American made, conceived and manufactured ‘stuff.’ Nobody does it better than the good ol’ USA.”

Israel and Iran have been exchanging strikes for five days, resulting in civilian casualties as well as the deaths of key Iranian military leaders and nuclear scientists. President Trump has called on Iran to return to the negotiating table and agree to a deal to halt its nuclear program.

“I’ve been negotiating. I told them to do the deal. They should have done the deal. Their cities have been blown to pieces, lost a lot of people. They should have done the deal. I told them, ‘Do the deal.’ So, I don’t know. I’m not too much in the mood to negotiate,” he told reporters on Air Force One on his way back from Canada.

Trump and his national security team concluded a meeting on Tuesday, according to various news reports. Trump held the meeting with his security advisors after departing the G7 summit early on Monday to address the escalating conflict between Israel and Iran. Fox News Chief Washington Correspondent Mike Emanuel reported that sources told Fox News the possibility of U.S. intervention and airstrikes was being considered.
