Kat Timpf, the Fox News personality famous for her sharp wit and candid commentary, is currently navigating one of the toughest battles of her life—but she’s tackling it with the same humor and resilience that have won her a loyal following. Only three weeks after sharing the news of her unexpected breast cancer diagnosis, which came just a day before the birth of her first child, Timpf took to social media to offer an update that showcased her trademark mix of strength and sarcasm.
“Once I recover from childbirth, my mole removal scars heal, I get a double mastectomy, get rid of my cancer, have breast reconstruction surgery & am physically capable of getting back in the gym it’s OVER FOR U BITCHEZ,” she wrote in a post on Instagram, punctuated with a confident array of emojis, including a smirking face, a sweating face, and a megaphone.

The diagnosis, detected at Stage 0, was discovered while preparing for delivery. In her first message to fans about the news, she clarified that she wasn’t seeking panic or pity. “As I’ve explained to the few people I’ve managed to tell about it so far: Don’t freak out. It’s just, like, a LITTLE bit of cancer,” she wrote. In spite of the life-altering diagnosis, Timpf described the surreal experience of transitioning from being overdue in her pregnancy by over a week to suddenly discussing treatment options for her newly diagnosed cancer—all within the same afternoon.
“I woke up more-than-a-week-past-due pregnant, completely consumed by doing everything I could to get the baby out. By the middle of the afternoon, I was waddling around from appointment to appointment, talking about how to get my cancer out,” she wrote in a post on February 25. “Finally, by the middle of the night, I was crawling around on the floor of my apartment in spontaneous labor, before heading to the hospital to meet my baby, whom I’d learn at the time of birth was a son.”
Timpf has been married to veteran Army Ranger Cameron Friscia since 2021. While the couple has yet to reveal a photo of their newborn son, Timpf has continued to offer her devoted followers glimpses into her journey. A regular guest on Gutfeld! and a staple on Fox News’ top-rated shows, Timpf has built a reputation for her straightforward libertarian viewpoints and sharp, quick-witted humor. “I’m lucky that we found the cancer so early; I’m lucky to be my son’s mom. I mean, I know I’m biased, but the little dude absolutely rules—and not just because he might have saved my life,” she posted at the time.
