Veteran conservative journalist and broadcaster Vince Coglianese is set to take over the radio time slot and podcast platform previously held by incoming FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino. Coglianese will host The VINCE Show and the accompanying VINCE podcast, both debuting March 17. Cumulus Media’s Westwood One will syndicate the live radio programming, according to a company statement.
“The VINCE Show and VINCE podcast are set to redefine conservative talk with their compelling mix of Vince’s signature blend of insight into and knowledge of the inner workings of Washington, DC, in-depth interviews, and live caller interactions,” the release read. “Vince’s authenticity and relatability ensure that every discussion is both engaging and thought-provoking, creating a vibrant community of informed listeners who have a front-row seat to the most important conversations of the day.”
Coglianese, a veteran journalist with nearly two decades of experience covering conservative politics, is a fan favorite on WMAL-FM in Washington, D.C., where he currently hosts The Vince Coglianese Show. Meanwhile, Bongino is stepping away from broadcasting to take on the role of Deputy Director of the FBI, the second-highest position in the nation’s most powerful law enforcement agency. “His decency and sacrifice are a true testament to his character,” Coglianese said in the release regarding Bongino’s return to service. “Now we take things to the next level.”
On Tuesday’s episode of The Dan Bongino Show, Bongino praised Vince Coglianese, returning the compliments as he prepares to take over the time slot and podcast platform. “He is fantastic,” Bongino said. “I promise you I only bring you the best people. You are gonna love him. Very, very, very smart guy – very intellectual show.” He added: “I love Vince, he’s been a good friend to me. You’ve heard him fill in on the radio show. I’ve gotten all your positive feedback. There’s a method to my madness. I always intended on bringing on Vince as a talent regardless before I even knew about this spot.”
The VINCE ?Show will debut for the first time on March 17 in Bongino’s 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. Eastern time slot. “I’m deeply conscious of the history-making legacies of these broadcasts, which is why we will be delivering the ultimate 3-hour live radio show and 1-hour podcast for the millions of Americans who demand the truth,” Coglianese said. “I promise this will be the most entertaining, informative, and efficient way to equip yourself?in the golden age of America.”
