President-elect Donald Trump issued another major statement about scores of sightings of mysterious drone activity in New Jersey and elsewhere, putting President Joe Biden on the spot to offer up an explanation to the American people. In his statement, Trump claimed that Biden, as well as the U.S. military, are both aware of the drones and know where they came from but are being elusive about the issue.
“The government knows what is happening. Look…Our military knows where they took off from. If it’s a garage, they can go right into that garage. They know where it came from and where it went. And for some reason they don’t want to comment. And I think they’d be better off saying what it is. Our military knows, and our President knows,” he said. “And for some reason, they want to keep people in suspense.
“I can’t imagine it’s the enemy because if it was the enemy they’d blast it out, even if they were late, they’d blast it,” Trump continued. “Something strange is going on. For some reason, they don’t want to tell the people, and they should because the people are really…I mean, they happen to be over Bedminster (Trump’s New Jersey golf club).” Asked if he had received any “intelligence briefings” on the matter, Trump declined to comment.

Ahead of the weekend, Trump broke his silence regarding the weeks-long sightings of ‘SUV-sized drones’ over much of New Jersey. Trump made his online statement after the Biden administration has repeatedly claimed to have no knowledge about where they came from or who put them in the air. “Mystery Drone sightings all over the Country. Can this really be happening without our government’s knowledge. I don’t think so!” Trump wrote in a TruthSocial post on Friday evening. “Let the public know, and now. Otherwise, shoot them down!!!”
On Friday’s broadcast of The Faulkner Focus on Fox News Channel, Belleville, NJ, Mayor Michael Melham revealed that the state of New Jersey was instructing that if a drone is brought down, “we’re immediately to call the bomb squad of our county, and, secondly, our fire department has been told to ensure they wear HAZMAT suits,” as if it were an attack on the homeland.
Melham stated, “On the way here, I was on the phone with my OEM team and we now have guidance coming from the state. And that guidance does say two different things. First of all, if there is a downed drone in our vicinity, we’re immediately to call the bomb squad of our county, and, second, our fire department has been instructed to make sure they wear HAZMAT suits.” Host Harris Faulkner then asked, “So, if something falls out of the sky that people have seen…you’re to treat this [like] more than a plane crash, it’s treated like an attack on the homeland?”
