First Lady Jill Biden unveiled this year’s White House Christmas decorations on Monday, themed “A Season of Peace and Light,” and supporters of traditional decor instantly seized upon them and those partial to incoming first lady Melania Trump.

According to PBS News, more than 300 volunteers dedicated a week to transform the White House’s public spaces into a festive display. The elaborate decorations include 83 Christmas trees adorned with nearly 10,000 feet (3,048 meters) of ribbon, over 28,000 ornaments, approximately 165,000 lights, more than 2,200 paper doves, and a ceiling design that creates a snowfall effect. Jill Biden also invited National Guard families to be among the first to view the decorations, highlighting their contributions and service.

Soon after the First Lady released the video, numerous social media users compared her Christmas decorations to Melania Trump. Sharing a clip drawing distinction, a user wrote, “Jill Biden just presented her White House Christmas decorations, and it’s truly the ugliest thing ever. Melania Trump’s return as First Lady is just as big as Trump’s return. The White House is going to look beautiful & glamorous again.”

Many users commented on the video, garnering over a million views. “We need Melania to save the Christmas spirit in the White House from this catastrophe,” a user wrote. “She’s telling people straight to their faces that this entire administration and last 4 years have been nothing less than a clown show and woke circus,” another user commented. “Melania is the epitome of class and eloquence! We will be getting that back in the White House,” a third user said.

Seems like appropriate decorations considering the last four years have been a clown show.

How fitting!

Jill Biden picked the perfect theme, not for Christmas but for Biden’s presidency!

These last 4 years have been a complete circus! He saved his best clown act for last: pardoning Hunter Biden. pic.twitter.com/VbBfmyyshN
