President Joe Biden appeared to call for former President Donald Trump to be jailed ahead of Election Day during a speech to a small group of people in New Hampshire. During his speech, not only did Biden falsely claim Trump wants to “physically shoot, kill” his political opponents, but he then said that it has become necessary to “lock up” the former president two weeks before election day.
“I know this sounds bizarre. It sounds like if I said this five years ago, you’d lock me up,” the president said. “We gotta lock him up.” Biden then clarified that he meant that “politically.”

This is the “tell” as to why the Democrat machine has been feverishly working to imprison Trump. It’s all been intentional. pic.twitter.com/mXK5IfxJlA

Biden’s calls for Trump’s imprisonment were met with loud cheers and applause from a room full of New Hampshire Democrats. But it should be noted that it’s the Biden-Harris regime that has been attempting to “lock up” Trump for more than a year, along with other Democrat attorneys general and courts. The Republican nominee was convicted in May on 34 counts of “falsifying business records” in a highly questionable case marred by allegations of political bias and the use of novel legal theories.
Although Bragg has not openly admitted to directly coordinating with the federal government, a senior Department of Justice official did leave his high-ranking position to work as a low-level prosecutor on the Trump case. In December 2022, Bragg brought on former Biden DOJ official Matthew Colangelo to focus on prosecuting white-collar crimes in Manhattan. Colangelo was immediately assigned to the Trump case, where he took on a prosecutorial role in court.
By the time Colangelo left to join Bragg’s office, he was not just any DOJ employee; he had previously served as Acting Associate Attorney General during the early days of the Biden Administration, making him the third most senior official in the Department of Justice. He also worked for New York Attorney General Letitia James, who initiated the controversial investigation into Trump regarding allegations of inflating the value of his properties.
In 2018, he received compensation for his consulting services to the Democratic National Committee. FEC records indicate that the DNC Services Corp/Democratic National Committee made two payments to Colangelo on January 31, 2018, totaling $12,000. At the time, Colangelo was working in then-New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman’s office as the deputy attorney general for social justice. He took on this role after Bragg, who was serving as chief deputy attorney general at that time.
Just months after Colangelo received payments from the DNC and joined the New York Attorney General’s office, then-acting New York Attorney General Barbara Underwood filed a lawsuit against the Trump Foundation. It should also be noted that Trump was charged by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis in Georgia for so-called “election interference” and racketeering charges. Reports this week said that Willis was working on charging Trump before she even took office and may have even had some assistance from the Biden-Harris regime.
