As Hunter Biden’s federal gun trial began this week in Delaware, the daughter of his so-called “sugar brother,” Hollywood lawyer Kevin Morris, took the opportunity to blast the first son and rip him for taking “advantage” of her father by accepting millions of dollars from him in assistance.
Dulcie Lou Morris, 23, directly confronted the first son about taking millions from her father to cover his legal bills. Morris, 60, a Hollywood entertainment lawyer and Democratic donor, began paying off Hunter Biden’s debts shortly after meeting him at a fundraiser for then-candidate Joe Biden in Brentwood, California, in 2019, the New York Post reported.
On Monday, Morris showed up in Wilmington, Delaware, as part of the Biden entourage for the first day of Hunter’s gun trial. Also present in a show of support were first lady Jill Biden and first daughter Ashley Biden, as well as Melissa Cohen, Hunter’s second wife. As the first son’s family rallied around him, Morris’s family have launched attacks against both Hunter and Morris himself.
“His entire family has abandoned him because they were livid when they found out he was bankrolling everything,” a source close to the Morris family told The Post. Morris’s daughter Dulcie Lou even confronted Hunter Biden recently, telling him to “stop taking advantage of my father,” the source said.
Last month, Politico reported that Morris informed his legal associates that he had run out of cash to fund Biden’s defense. Abbe Lowell, Biden’s primary attorney, had requested to postpone the Delaware trial last month due to “strained” resources to handle two trials in different parts of the country.
The Post noted further:
Biden will go on trial accused of federal tax crimes in Los Angeles, California, in September.
Lowell takes in between $850 and more than $1,500 per hour, according to Politico.
It’s unclear how much Morris has spent on Biden, but a January letter to the House Oversight Committee from one of Morris’ attorneys suggests the figure is more than $6.5 million, including a $2.6 million loan to pay Biden’s debt to the IRS in 2021.
Most of the loans carry a 5 percent interest rate, the letter said.
Morris also found a “lavish” house for Biden and Cohen in Venice Beach, paying $17,500 a month from January 2020 to October 15, 2020, according to transcripts from the House committee hearing.
Hunter’s gun trial is expected to last around two weeks. Jury selection began on Monday, and prosecutors may call Hallie Biden, to the stand.
Last year, Special Counsel David Weiss brought charges against Hunter, including one count of making a false statement during a firearm purchase, one count of firearm possession by an individual unlawfully using or addicted to a controlled substance, and one count of making a false statement concerning records required to be maintained by a federal firearms licensee. Subsequently, Weiss also indicted Hunter on tax violations in California.

Before entering a relationship with Hunter, Hallie Biden was previously married to the president’s other son, Beau, who passed away in 2015. She is likely to be required to testify in the upcoming trial. Jury selection in the case is set to begin on June 3. Prosecutors plan to use excerpts from Hunter Biden’s book and his infamous laptop to argue that he made false statements on a federal form in 2018. They allege that Hunter was actively using narcotics when he filled out a federal background check form saying he wasn’t a user when he bought a revolver.
