“It is true. No question, it is true that foreign-born workers have exceeded native-born workers and that is a troubling — a troubling development,” he began. “I myself love immigrants, Jesse, as long as they are legal immigrants.”

“Yep,” Watters agreed.

“Legal immigrants, not illegal immigrants. And I think Trump is right,” Kudlow continued.

“The trouble here is Biden’s illegal immigration wave has caused a tremendous wave of crime all over the country. It’s also causing a tremendous wave of bankruptcies to these sanctuary cities that think they’re welcoming immigration — illegal immigrants — but they have to pay out huge amounts of money now on welfare, related housing, transportation, whatever,” he added.

Kudlow then revealed what the administration doesn’t want voters to know.

“And the other points you made that I think is important, we don’t know enough about it yet, but it’s important. Because we’ve had a wave of illegal immigrant jobs, okay, you’re talking about relatively low wage jobs, but they are affecting the whole labor force,” said the economist.

“And I think you can say that they’re bringing wages down, overall, and you know, specifically in certain regions of the country, so this is not a good thing. Look, the Achilles heel, the soft underbelly of the Biden economy, is an affordability crisis, okay?” he added, noting further that the vast majority of ordinary wage earners in the country are having trouble making ends meet under Biden.

“Real wages. Real wages, okay. Wages adjusted for inflation, inflation has gone up almost 20 percent in the last three-and-a-half years or so, wages have not kept pace, and so people can’t afford the Biden economy. That’s all there is to it,” he said as Watters agreed.
