Former President Donald Trump was indicted for a fourth time late Monday, this time by a George Soros-connected district attorney in Fulton County, Ga., Fani Willis.

“The charges include violating the Georgia RICO Act — the Racketeer Influenced And Corrupt Organizations Act; Solicitation of Violation of Oath by a Public Officer; Conspiracy to Commit Impersonating a Public Officer; Conspiracy to Commit Forgery in the First Degree; Conspiracy to Commit False Statements and Writings; Conspiracy to Commit Filing False Documents; Conspiracy to Commit Forgery in the First Degree;  Filing False Documents; and Solicitation of Violation of Oath by a Public Officer,” Fox News reported.

In addition to Trump — who is leading the GOP presidential field substantially — others formerly in his orbit were also charged: “Former Trump White House chief of staff Mark Meadows, attorneys Rudy Giuliani, Sidney Powell, Jenna Ellis, Kenneth Chesebro, Jeff Clark, John Eastman, and others,” Fox News noted.

Now, conservatives are calling for Republican attorneys general in red districts to start indicting leading Democratic figures, up to and including a former president and the current commander-in-chief.

“The latest indictment of Trump is a sick joke. But it sets a standard that GOP AGs and DAs should follow in retaliation. NOW. Convene a grand jury in some Republican jurisdiction and indict Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, Joe Biden and the rest of them for the Russia collusion hoax,” the USA Features Media account posted on Tuesday.

Joel Pollak, editor of Breitbart News, added something similar: “The indictment is a joke. But it sets a standard that Republican AGs and DAs should follow in retaliation. Convene a grand jury in some Republican jurisdiction and indict Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, Joe Biden and the rest of them for the Russia collusion hoax. One law for all.”

Harvard Law Professor Alan Dershowitz said: “If you’re going after the man running for president against your person, you have to have the strongest case. Otherwise, it becomes a banana republic.

“Anybody can prosecute anybody. And we’re opening the door to prosecution of Democrats by Republicans, Republicans by Democrats,” he continued. “It’s what Alexander Hamilton wrote in The Federalist is the most dangerous threat to democracy, and we’re seeing it unfold in front of our eyes. Very, very tragically.

“I’m not a Republican, I’m not a Trump supporter, but I care deeply about the Constitution,” he continued. “I care deeply about preserving the rule of law. “And we’re seeing it being frittered away for partisan political purposes.”

Meanwhile, Trump’s legal team has responded in the wake of his latest indictment by Fulton County, Ga., District Attorney Fani Willis, ripping the charges and process as “flawed and unconstitutional.”

Their full statement — issued by Drew Findling, Jennifer Little and Marissa Goldberg — began: “The events that have unfolded today have been shocking and absurd, starting with the leak of a presumed and premature indictment before the witnesses had testified or the grand jurors had deliberated and ending with the District Attorney being unable to offer any explanation.

“In light of this major fumble, the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office clearly decided to force through and rush this 98-page indictment,” the legal team continued. “This one-sided grand jury presentation relied on witnesses who harbor their own personal and political interests— some of whom ran campaigns touting their efforts against the accused and/or profited from book deals and employment opportunities as a result.

“We look forward to a detailed review of this indictment which is undoubtedly just as flawed and unconstitutional as this entire process has been,” they added.
