During multiple Fox News appearances, constitutional lawyer Mark Levin destroyed the Biden administration’s case against former President Donald Trump point by point.
To begin with, Levin highlighted the presence of political bias, the misuse of the justice system, and an unprecedented assault on a former president during his appearances on the network on Thursday and Friday.
Yesterday, during his opening remarks, he emphasized the potentially grave consequences that lie ahead for Trump. He described the indictment as a “disgusting mark on American history for the future to come” while attributing it to the actions of “bandits in the White House by the Democrat Party that don’t play fair anymore.”
Levin expressed his apprehensions regarding the purported exploitation of the Department of Justice and the FBI by the current administration to further their political aspirations. He referred to Attorney General Merrick Garland as a “mob lawyer.”
He then accused the Democratic Party of pursuing a one-party rule agenda, utilizing the justice system as a means to achieve that objective.
Levin pointed out that the Presidential Records Act, under which Trump is purportedly facing charges, was not designed as a criminal statute. He suggested that there might be a potential misuse of the law at play in the case against Trump.
“What did he do with the documents? Did he sell them to the enemy? No! That’s why we have an Espionage Act, not the trick of a president. What did he do? Did he burn them all? No! The government has all the documents back.”
Then, Friday, Levin blew a massive hole in the case in another monologue during an appearance on Martha MacCallum’s Fox show with one simple question: “How many documents were actually destroyed?”
The charges against Trump revolve around a “document case,” which raises the possibility of the former president facing significant prison time due to matters concerning document retention.
Levin questioned the logic of that legal thinking, asking, “Is this some kind of a sick joke on the American people?”
