A report on Friday noted that the now-defunct January 6 Committee was not completely honest in its presentation of findings to the American people.
On Friday, John Solomon from Just The News released unedited footage from January 6, which provides evidence that the audio in the footage presented by the January 6 Select Committee was doctored.
The video shown during a Congressional hearing depicted rioters breaking windows and entering the Capitol building during the election protests of January 6, 2021.
However, in the committee’s footage, the audio included individuals shouting “go, go, go” overlaid with sounds of windows breaking and loud bangs.
The footage also contained the voice of a Capitol Police officer yelling, “We have a breach in the Capitol!”
Solomon, who was among the three journalists permitted by House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) to access the footage, released the unedited version for the first time. The uncut footage was completely devoid of any sound, with the sounds added in by the committee’s production team.
“That footage was thrown in there to create a dramatic, movie-like effect. It’s no longer evidence now,” Solomon said. “It’s now been turned into a little bit of propaganda. It’s one thing if they told the public that they did it, but they don’t.”
Furthermore, the committee altered the audio in an overhead shot that illustrated the initial breach of Capitol Police lines in front of the building. Similar to the CCTV footage captured inside the building, this footage was modified to include sounds depicting a loud and hostile mob.
HOLY SCHIFF!
The January 6 Committee Hearing Doctored a Video & Added Audio to Make it Appear Scarierhttps://t.co/pFfKJ40KFR
I want everyone to grasp the depth of corruption this takes in order to do something like this.

The recently released footage sheds light on the involvement of former ABC News producer James Goldston, who was hired by the committee to enhance the footage for primetime hearings.
Goldston served as a “secret adviser,” tasked with transforming documents, audio recordings, and videos related to the events of the day into captivating television content.
The hearings were hailed as a “blockbuster investigative special,” Axios reported.
Earlier this week, Solomon unveiled footage revealing then-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) calmly evacuating the building while her daughter, a documentary filmmaker, recorded the event for heightened dramatic impact.
It’s believed that Solomon and other journalists, such as Julie Kelly from American Greatness, will release further footage in the future.
