A video clip of former President Donald Trump interacting with the New Hampshire audience after Wednesday’s night’s CNN live town hall event has gone viral.

The clip shows that Trump really hasn’t lost a step and is already well into campaign mode a la 2016 and 2020.

Calling it a “friendly” experience, Trump shouted out, “Have a good time, everybody” before waving to cheering supporters and making his way from the stage. Off-screen, audience members applauded the former president who repeated his tagline “Make America Great Again” as a supporter called out, “You did awesome Trump!”

The event necessitated close coordination between the campaign and a network that they have traditionally been cautious about. As a result, the audience was overwhelmingly supportive, laughing at Trump’s jokes and joining in jeering moderator Kaitlan Collins as she tried to challenge false assertions regarding the 2020 election.

In fact, when he was introduced, he got a standing ovation.
