Former Fox News host Dan Bongino is staying busy despite leaving the network a couple of weeks ago.
On Monday, he announced a new book he has written that is set for release this fall.
It’s called, “The Gift of Failure: (And I’ll rethink the title if this book fails!),” and is the latest successful venture for the former NYPD officer and Secret Service agent.
“I’ve failed a lot. A LOT! But I thank God for each failure because I used them as learning opportunities. And after seeing book after book about how wonderful people are, I decided to write a book about my failures,” said the talk radio star about his book, which can be preordered.
It is scheduled for release on Oct. 10.
“Dan Bongino’s brutally honest, deeply personal, unforgettable stories about how he transformed failures into victories will enthrall, entertain, and inspire readers,” a description of the book states.

“In The Gift of Failure, leading conservative commentator Dan Bongino identifies failures in his life and how those failures led to bigger and better things. With the same laser-focused intensity that has made him one of America’s most popular voices, Bongino uncompromisingly cuts to the heart of failure with a collection that is inspirational, motivational, entertaining, touching, and redemptive,” the description adds.
“Throughout his career, Bongino has helped trailblaze a fight for free speech and free expression, garnering many national headlines for taking on some of the biggest tech companies in the world to challenge their seemingly draconian censorship policies,” the description noted further.
“Along the way, through his many David vs. Goliath battles, Bongino has learned the hard way why failure matters,” it says.
Bongino opened up after he parted ways last month with his former employer, Fox.
According to Bongino, there is no animosity or any big conspiracy in play. The two just could not come to contract terms.
“Folks, regretfully, last week was my last show on Fox News on the Fox News Channel,” Bongino said on his podcast Thursday. “It’s tough. It’s tough to say that. You know, I’ve been there doing hits and working there for ten years…so the show ending was tough.
“And I want you to know it’s not some big conspiracy. I promise you. There’s no acrimony. This wasn’t some WWE brawl that happened. We just couldn’t come to terms on an extension,” he added.
