Last week, it was reported that an unclassified whistleblower disclosure shared with the US Congress alleged that the FBI had evidence connecting then Vice President Joe Biden to a criminal bribery scheme involving a foreign national.
However, it appears that this was not the only such occurrence, according to a Monday report.
According to an email sent by former federal prosecutor Bud Cummins to then-New York US Attorney Geoff Berman on October 4, 2018, there were bribery allegations and evidence that Joe Biden had leveraged his position to protect his son’s Ukrainian employer in exchange for payments to Hunter Biden, Devon Archer, and Joe Biden.
Cummins stated that Yuriy Lutsenko, Ukraine’s then-Prosecutor General, was willing to travel to the US to meet Berman and had two “John Doe” witnesses who could corroborate the allegations. However, Berman did not respond, as revealed in an email obtained by John Solomon of Just The News.
As the former Prosecutor General of Ukraine, Lutsenko has previously asserted that Joe Biden employed his influence to shield his son’s Ukrainian employer in return for monetary compensation.
“There is a claim they have proof of a wire of significant funds from Zlochevsky to Rosemont Seneca Partners LLC which they claim directly went to the benefit of Joe Biden,” wrote Cummins.
“I have never understood why they think they know it went to him. I think the entity was associated with Hunter Biden and Archer. All I have been told is that the person who made the transfers was told that ‘one goes to Joe Biden,'” the email added.
Mykola Zlochevsky, who was referenced by Cummins, is a Ukrainian politician and businessman. He held the position of Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of Ukraine from 2010 to 2012 and founded Burisma Holdings, a Ukrainian energy company. Hunter Biden served on the board of directors of Burisma Holdings from 2014 to 2019.
Conversely, Rosemont Seneca Partners LLC is an investment firm that was established in 2009 by Hunter Biden and Christopher Heinz, who is the stepson of former US Secretary of State John Kerry. The firm, headquartered in Washington, D.C., concentrated on private equity investments in several sectors, such as energy and finance.
It is said that the firm invested in numerous businesses, including Burisma Holdings, the Ukrainian energy company where Hunter served on the board of directors from 2014 to 2019.
“I can’t really imagine a legitimate reason for the DOJ not to follow up on an offer like that,” Cummins said in an interview with Just the News and The New York Post. “I felt like it was stonewalled.”
Meanwhile, FBI Director Christopher Wray has been ordered by Congress to turn over a “form” that reportedly outlines a “criminal scheme” involving then-VP Joe Biden. The Washington Examiner said the order came in the form of a subpoena from U.S. Rep. James Comer, R-Ky., to Wray.
The “scheme” purportedly involved Biden while he was vice president and a “foreign national.”
“We have received legally protected and highly credible unclassified whistleblower disclosures,” Comer and Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, told Wray and Attorney General Merrick Garland in a letter.
“Based on those disclosures, it has come to our attention that the Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation possess an unclassified FD-1023 form that describes an alleged criminal scheme involving then-Vice President Biden and a foreign national relating to the exchange of money for policy decisions. It has been alleged that the document includes a precise description of how the alleged criminal scheme was employed as well as its purpose,” the letter added.
The form is the paperwork used by the FBI to record interviews with witnesses and others.
