Sean Hannity was blindsided by the dilemma between Fox News and Tucker Carlson where the host was dismissed amid rumors he’s been fired. Tucker Carlson hasn’t done a show since and has only appeared in a Twitter video that he posted on 8:01 pm one night, right at the time his show was supposed to air but Brian Kilmeade was giving it a shot and failed miserably.

Sean Hannity opens up about his feelings on the Tucker Carlson vs Fox News incident and where he stands, revealing the hard part of it all for him, personally. Obviously Sean Hannity doesn’t own the company, like he pointed out on his radio show, and he said a bit more than that as quoted in a news article on Yahoo!:

“It’s very hard,” Hannity said. “My phone has been blowing up all day. The hard part for me is I don’t have a clue.”

“I have no idea,” Hannity continued. “Was it Tucker’s decision? Was it Fox’s? Was it a mutual agreement that they had? I don’t know.”

“I guess people think that because I’ve been there the longest that I’d have some knowledge or understanding of what’s going on, but … I just don’t,” Hannity said. “For those who think I should, I say to those people, I don’t own the company.”

Tucker Carlson parted ways with Fox News and did his last show that Friday before they split up like two people dating. Fox News has confirmed this and thanked him for his service to the network that has been dominating many various ratings over other networks for quite some time. Fox News issued a statement that said: We thank him for his service to the network as a host and prior to that as a contributor,” the network said in a statement.

The network also said there would be a new show at 8pm called “Fox News Tonight” that would start on Monday. That show will rotate hosts provided by Fox News until a new host is officially named.

Tucker Carlson was one of Fox News’ top host in the prime time range. He had millions of viewers each night and some reports say he was one of the most watched ‘pundit’ on cable TV.

It still remains, at the time this was posted, why Tucker Carlson and Fox News parted ways. However, Tucker Carlson isn’t the only host who’s leaving the network. Dan Bongino has left Fox News as well.

Sean Hannity is no stranger to controversy. He faced accusations after disagreements with a popular GOP Rep.
