Vice President Kamala Harris turned heads after delivering a rage-filled speech in Tennessee in defense of two Democratic lawmakers who were expelled this week.
Harris defended the two Democratic state representatives, Justin Jones and Justin Pearson, who were expelled for leading an ‘insurrection’ at the state Capitol for gun control. The protest followed a shooting at a Christian school in Nashville that killed six people.
Harris did not attend the vigil for the slain children but gave a speech about democracy, which some have criticized as performative.
Harris defended the Reps storming the capitol, saying, “A Democracy allows for places where the People’s voice will be heard and honored. And at times, she literally seemed to be yelling at the top of her lungs.

Conservative critics, including Matt Walsh, blasted Harris and accused her and, by default, her Democratic Party of selective outrage.
She didn’t come to Nashville to attend any of the vigils for the children murdered by a trans terrorist. She didn’t come to meet with the families. Instead she’s coming for this. These people are truly just absolute scum. Hideously wicked human beings. https://t.co/mqLEK0ZN1j

Here are some additional reactions:
Kamala Harris came to Nashville to meet the Tennessee 3 but we need to show her the 6 victims of the Covenant shooting that Tennessee actually stands with. Why do Democrats tell people that they are victims but ignore the real ones? pic.twitter.com/QC48xClWww

Kamala Harris’ priorities are clear: she doesn’t care about dead Christian kids. pic.twitter.com/3n5UTAq3af
