She Did It Again – ‘The View’ Co-Host Whoopi Goldberg In Danger of Being Booted From Show After Repeating Holocaust Claim That Got Her Suspended

“The View” co-host Whoopie Goldberg may be nearing the end of her lengthy run on the show.

The feisty actress is in hot water again after she repeated a claim about the Holocaust that got her suspended for a couple weeks earlier this year.

Previously, Goldberg got in trouble when she said the Holocaust was not “racial” but a form of “white-on-white” crime.

Goldberg told the Sunday Times of London in an interview promoting her new movie: “It wasn’t originally about race. Remember who they were killing first. They were not killing racial; they were killing physical. They were killing people they considered to be mentally defective. And then they made this decision.”

But the interviewer did not buy that argument and told Goldberg that the Nazi regime in Germany considered Jews to be a race. However, Goldberg pushed back again.

“The oppressor is telling you what you are. Why are you believing them? They’re Nazis. Why believe what they’re saying?” she said.

“It doesn’t change the fact that you could not tell a Jew on a street. You could find me. You couldn’t find them. That was the point I was making,” she noted further.

“But you would have thought that I’d taken a big old stinky dump on the table, butt naked.”

ABC News president Kim Godwin said she suspended Whoopi earlier: “Effective immediately, I am suspending Whoopi Goldberg for two weeks for her wrong and hurtful comments.

“While Whoopi has apologized, I’ve asked her to take time to reflect and learn about the impact of her comments,” she added. “The entire ABC News organization stands in solidarity with our Jewish colleagues, friends, family and communities.”

At the time, Goldberg apologized.

“I said the Holocaust ‘is not about race, but about man’s inhumanity to man.’ I should have said it is about both. As Jonathan Greenblatt from the Anti-Defamation League shared, ‘The Holocaust was about the Nazi’s systematic annihilation of the Jewish people — who they deemed to be an inferior race.’ I stand corrected.

“The Jewish people around the world have always had my support and that will never waiver. I’m sorry for the hurt I have caused,” she said.
