County music star John Rich has some bad news for the Democratic National Committee.
On the heels of an announcement over the weekend by right-leaning actor James Woods that he is planning to file a lawsuit against the DNC for allegedly having Twitter target him and kick him off the platform for months, Rich says he plans to join the suit as well.
Woods told Fox News host Tucker Carlson on Friday after learning he was targeted by the DNC: “I can guarantee you one thing more than anything else you’ll ever hear in your life: I will be getting a lawyer. I will be suing the Democratic National Committee no matter what.
“Whether I win or lose, I am going to stand up for the rights that every American – not a so-called celebrity. I’m not a celebrity — I’m hardly recognizable anymore because my career has been destroyed by these very people,” he added.
“And I will sue. And I’m hoping other people will sue. I loved my career for 50 years. I was happy to be an award-winning and honored and appreciated actor, and I miss my career,” said Woods.
“And if it turns out there are a lot of us on this list where the DNC targeted us, then I will quote the immortal words of Joseph Welch when he attacked Wisconsin Senator Joseph McCarthy for the enemies list he had – ‘At long last or have you no shame?” Woods continued.
“Have you, Mr. President – Have all of you, at last, no shame? I think it is a compliment, but, it’s a big price to pay. It’s not a lot of fun. I loved my career for 50 years. I was happy to be an award-winning and honored and appreciated actor, and I miss my career,” he said.
“Someone said, why would you do it? I said I’m going to defend my name… And if I have to be the flag bearer for this, then so be it. I’ll be proud to do it,” Woods added.
That led the noted Twitter account “Catturd” to post: “I’m pretty sure I was on their enemies list. I’d be glad to join any class action law suit.”
John Rich responded with, “Me too.”
Me too.

James Woods reacts to the DNC and Twitter colluding to suspend him:
"I literally just walked in the door. I was at the firing range, believe it or not. Which I guess now that I don't have any First Amendment rights, I'm glad that I still have some Second Amendment rights." pic.twitter.com/A5QZ7d9dfl
