Twitter boss Elon Musk proved again that he is a master troll.

On Wednesday, the billionaire CEO posted a video of him and some Twitter staff discovering boxes of t-shirts in a closet at the company’s San Fran headquarters that said, “#StayWoke” — a reference to uber-left-wing cultural ideology.

Not long afterward, Musk posted a redesigned t-shirt that emphasized his ‘work hard’ ethic:

The redesign “#Stay@Work” was likely a reference to his policy of returning Twitter employees to their offices and ending most remote work which began during the pandemic — a decision that was highly unpopular among his liberal workforce.

Fox News further reported:

The new design, which could be just a meme, is a reference to Musk’s changing or work policy at Twitter. After he took over the platform, Musk ended remote work for employees, a convenience that was made widely available under the coronavirus pandemic.

In a mass email on Nov. 9, Musk said there was “no way to sugarcoat the message” and that employees should expect changes concerning office policy.

The email allegedly said Musk will discontinue remote work and will be requiring employees to be in the office for at least 40 hours per week. Any exceptions would need his personal approval, Bloomberg reported.

“If you can physically make it to an office and you don’t show up, resignation accepted,” he said earlier this month.

Musk has also received pushback for reinstating several previously banned accounts, most of them conservative users, including former President Donald Trump after a polling users. Most voted to allow Trump back on the platform.
