Bruce Springsteen Breaks Two Years Silence To Support A Radical Leftist

Bruce Springsteen ended nearly two years of social media silence to endorse Abdul El-Sayed for Michigan's U.S. Senate seat, calling President Trump 'corrupt' and 'lawless' while conservatives online absolutely buried him.

I’m no expert, but I think Bruce Springsteen lost his marbles when he fell on stage a few years ago, because he’s gone completely bonkers and full leftist on us and it’s just sad.

He broke nearly two years of social media silence this week, and he used it to endorse radical leftist Abdul El-Sayed for Michigan’s U.S. Senate seat. Because of course he did. He went from Born in the USA to hating it and it’s just sad.

Springsteen posted his endorsement on both X and Instagram, throwing his full support behind El-Sayed, who is locked in a bitter race against Republican Mike Rogers. Even Democratic Rep. Haley Stevens had the sense to refuse to back El-Sayed, but hey, nobody ever accused “The Boss” of having good judgment when it comes to politics.

In the post, Springsteen called President Trump “corrupt” and “lawless,” which is a pretty bold take from a guy who spent years cheerfully ignoring every scandal and debacle coming out of the Biden White House. He wrote, “Dr. El-Sayed is a fighter for our American Constitution, he’s a fighter for our American Democracy, and he’s a fighter against the corrupt, lawless, and anti-American leadership currently in the White House. That’s why I’m in his corner 100%.” Strong words from a man whose most famous song is widely understood as a satire that flew right over his own fans’ heads for four decades.

The funniest part about his post was talking about Trump, but Trump isn’t on any of the ballots. Seems like Springsteen’s TDS got the best of him once again and now he’s supporting someone who’s one person removed from being linked to terrorists.

Conservatives on X were not exactly thrilled, and they made sure Springsteen knew it. Springsteen’s El-Sayed endorsement post brought out some of the finest reply-section commentary the internet has to offer.

“Your first post in nearly two years and it’s for El Sayed? Pathetic,” wrote one user. Another hit even harder: “Bruce Springsteen, the guy who spent 40 years cashing in on ‘Born in the USA,’ finally posts after two years of silence just to call an elected American president ‘corrupt, lawless, and anti-American’ while locking arms with Abdul El-Sayed. The Boss isn’t fighting for the Constitution. He’s just another rich coastal has-been who needs a new reason to hate the country that made him.”

One commenter brought up a contrast that stung a little: “Bruce Springsteen who performed at the concert for NY at MSG in 2001 after 9/11 is now campaigning for a Muslim Brotherhood sympathizer. Holy f-ck did I not have this on my bingo card for today.” Another pointed to El-Sayed’s association with streamer Hasan Piker, writing, “Abdul campaigned with a guy who said that he wipes his ass with the Constitution.

Others kept it short and to the point. “Traitor,” wrote one. “What a POS you turned out to be. I am embarrassed I ever was a fan of yours,” wrote another. And one commenter gave the whole thing its proper eulogy: “You should do a concert for his family in the Muslim Brotherhood.”

The Michigan Senate race between El-Sayed and Rogers is one of the most closely watched contests in the country, and now it has a celebrity endorsement that may do more harm than good. If Springsteen’s social media replies are any indication, the only thing he managed to accomplish here was reminding a few million former fans to skip his songs on shuffle.

Born in the USA, apparently embarrassed by it. What a journey. I guess having all the fans and money in the world doesn’t matter, you can still be a loser.
