Trump Returns to Florida With a List of Wins That Should Make Democrats Cry

President Trump touched down in Florida Friday to showcase a record of results for workers, seniors, and veterans that Democrats can only dream of matching.

President Trump flew back to Florida on Friday and brought a long list of accomplishments with him, the kind of results that make Democrats quietly stare at the ceiling at 2 a.m. wondering where it all went wrong.

On taxes alone, Florida seniors are cleaning up. Approximately 4.8 million of them benefit from the new senior deduction, with the average senior expected to pay zero federal taxes on Social Security benefits. Florida taxpayers also saw average refunds of $4,433 in 2026, the highest of any state in the country. Try topping that with another government program named after a body of water.

The Working Families Tax Cuts didn’t just pad refund checks either. According to Trump’s Florida economic record, those cuts protected 399,000 Florida jobs, $73 billion in state GDP, and $36 billion in workers’ wages. In September 2026, the Trump Administration also approved Florida’s Workforce Pell Grant program, letting students use Pell Grant funding for careers like firefighting, corrections, and emergency management, you know, jobs that actually matter.

Private investment is pouring into the Sunshine State like it has somewhere to be. Johnson and Johnson is dropping $1 billion in Jacksonville. Williams International is putting $1 billion into an aviation gas turbine engine facility in Okaloosa County. Blue Origin is expanding its Rocket Park campus at Cape Canaveral with $600 million. Lupin, Chick-fil-A, Monin, and Tampa Brass and Aluminum are all writing big checks too. Apparently, when you stop punishing businesses, they start showing up. Who knew.

Rural healthcare got a historic boost as well. Florida locked in $210 million in first-year funding through the Rural Health Transformation Program, which the Trump team calls the largest federal investment in rural healthcare in American history. In August 2026, $188 million in grants went out to 31 rural counties covering everything from expanded access to care to home-based services and specialty care. Meanwhile, the Biden crowd spent four years talking about healthcare equity and somehow managed to leave rural America holding an empty bag.

The Everglades restoration project is now on track for completion by 2029, five years ahead of the previous timeline. The Trump Administration put $85 million into upgrading 20 miles of I-4 highway. Artemis II launched from Florida’s Space Coast in April 2026, and Artemis III is set to follow from Kennedy Space Center. America is going back to the Moon, and Florida’s doing the heavy lifting.

Veterans are seeing real action too. The VA awarded more than $113 million in grants to 42 Florida organizations helping veterans who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. More than $6 million went to suicide prevention services, and over $600,000 funded adaptive sports programs. A new clinic in North Port broke ground in June 2026 and will serve more than 10,000 veterans annually.

On crime and the border, the numbers are staggering. Murders in Florida dropped 19% last year. In the first half of 2026 compared to the same stretch in 2025, homicides fell 50%, rapes dropped 22%, and robberies fell 22%. Illegal southern border crossings were slashed 95% from Biden-era levels, the lowest total on record, with zero Border Patrol releases in FY2026, a first in American history.

Floridians can keep this going or hand the keys back to the Democrats who gave them open borders and empty shelves. Doesn’t seem like a tough call.
