Democrats are good at pretending to care about their constituents, raising taxes, and now they’re excelling in fraud cases like no other. I guess they need to be good at something, but that doesn’t mean it’s good for the rest of us.
Maybe that’s why Peggy Flanagan was spotted in a hijab as she pretended to care about the Somali population in Minnesota. Nothing says begging for votes like putting on an outfit of the people she probably would never let step foot in her house, right? How many Somali people have been to Peggy’s house for dinner? Exactly.
But that’s all part of the political theater, the dog and pony show, the clown car circus freaks who call themselves politicians. But at the end of the day, they’re criminals like the people behind bars – but often times a much worse version because people somehow, stupidly, vote for Democrats.
You’re not supposed to vote for criminals, but here we are with a groveling Peggy Flanagan trying to secure herself a senatorial position in the American government as her opponent, Michelle Tafoya, is on the GOP side doing things the right way. Tafoya calls it like she sees it. It’s literally her mindset and the type of person Minnesota needs.
Out with the Tim Walz type of people and in with the Republicans. Unless you just want to be ripped off for tuition at the Learing Center, then that’s your own fault.
But wait, there’s more to the Peggy Flanagan hijab video than you thought.
The woman who appeared alongside Minnesota Democratic Senate candidate Peggy Flanagan in the hilarious hijab video is now at the center of a state fraud investigation, and the timing could not be worse for a candidate already drowning in questions about her record.
The Minnesota Department of Human Services confirmed it has open investigations into both Milestone Development Centers and Spectrum Therapy Center. Milestone is run by Nimco Ahmed, a longtime Democratic, Farmer, Labor Party activist who has been friends with Flanagan for nearly 25 years, according to Alpha News. A DHS spokesperson told Fox News Digital: “These agencies are on our radar,” adding that both providers had already been terminated from the Medicaid program under a revalidation process and have since appealed those terminations.
Ahmed was featured alongside Flanagan in the Peggy Flanagan hijab video posted on Somali TV that spread across social media. In it, Flanagan, wearing a hijab, declared, “The Somali community is part of the fabric of the state of Minnesota.” Sweet sentiment. Less sweet when your co-star is running an autism center that apparently struggled to keep qualified professionals in the building.
Former Milestone therapist Grant Morgan told Alpha News he worked directly with clients six days a week during two months there in late 2023 and never once saw a Qualified Supervising Professional or Board Certified Behavior Analyst overseeing the work. He also said many practitioners appeared unqualified and knew little about applied behavior analysis. Oh, and nobody ever asked him to write or sign session notes, which happen to be the main way providers bill Medicaid. Just a small detail.
Morgan described treatments as ineffective, said the center did not provide comprehensive autism services, noted that some clients did not appear to be autistic, and flagged what he called potential billing fraud red flags. He was not involved in billing himself. Ahmed pushed back, telling Alpha News that the questions about her center were “bias” and that the outlet only pursued the story because she is Somali. She denied the oversight problems, said all children had proper autism diagnoses, and insisted Milestone follows state requirements and is regularly audited. Fox News Digital reached out to both Milestone and Flanagan’s campaign for comment.
Social media lit up fast. Townhall columnist Dustin Grage posted on X: “Nimco Ahmed, who stood alongside Peggy Flanagan wearing a hijab, runs an autism center that is now under investigation. You can’t make this stuff up.” Conservative influencer LibsofTikTok added, “It just never ends,” and retired NYPD inspector and Fox News contributor Paul Mauro simply wrote, “I can’t even keep up anymore.” Honestly, same.
Flanagan has served as Minnesota’s lieutenant governor since 2019 and has faced repeated questions about why the state did not do more to address fraud scandals that largely hit during her time in office. She’s already taking heat for blaming her boss Tim Walz for problems she oversaw as his number two. Now her viral hijab video has a whole new subplot nobody asked for.
The investigations remain open, the appeals are pending, and Flanagan still has a Senate race to run. At this rate, her campaign calendar might need to include some court dates too.
If you live in Minnesota and have any working braincells left, then you’ll vote for Michelle Tafoya, the Republican who’s not connected to people stealing tax dollars from the hardworking Americans… allegedly, of course. #VoteRed #TafoyaForSenate
