A video of former Vice President Kamala Harris delivering a profanity-laced attack on President Donald Trump has resurfaced and is circulating widely on X. The clip comes from an October 2025 appearance on comedian Jon Stewart’s “The Weekly Show” podcast, where Harris directed pointed criticism at Trump’s White House renovation plans.
During the interview, Stewart asked Harris whether Democrats could take any lessons from Trump’s aggressive approach to reshaping the federal government. Harris argued that it is important not to conflate “disruption with destruction,” saying “disruption is important,” but questioned the value of tearing things down as a “grand gesture.”
Harris Targets Trump’s White House Ballroom
Harris then turned her focus to Trump’s plans to build a ballroom at the White House, contrasting the project with what she described as a looming crisis in SNAP benefits, the federal food assistance program commonly known as food stamps. “Are you f***ing kidding me?” she said, opening her remarks on the topic.

“This guy wants to create a ballroom for his rich friends while completely turning a blind eye to the fact that babies are going to starve when the SNAP benefits end just hours from now? Come on! So what? I’m not going to be distracted by, ‘Oh does the guy have a big f***ing hammer? What about those babies?'” she said. Harris then told Stewart that Democrats must stay focused on delivering concrete solutions to everyday struggles rather than getting drawn into distractions.
The Security Case for the Ballroom
Trump has cited security concerns as a central reason for the ballroom project. There have been three reported attempts on the president’s life, including one connected to the White House Correspondents’ Association event held at the Washington Hilton Hotel. The proposed ballroom would be designed for maximum security, providing a controlled venue for future high-profile events and protecting government officials at important gatherings.
On the SNAP debate, Republicans at the time said they were working toward a funding agreement but that Democrats blocked multiple attempts, insisting on provisions related to Immigration and Customs Enforcement funding. Democrats opposed measures that would have allowed the administration to continue immigration enforcement as part of any deal.

The resurfaced video drew sharp responses on X. “Nobody is going to starve. Every county and city in the USA has multiple food banks, church groups and soup kitchens. They are literally all over the USA. Catholic Charities alone has 168 locations in the USA open to anyone. No questions asked. If her lips are moving, she’s lying,” one user wrote in reply to the clip.
Another commenter wrote, “You care about babies now after your party was giving out free abortions at the DNC? Right?” The video continues to spread across the platform as debate over SNAP funding, White House spending priorities, and Harris’s political future remains active heading into 2026.
