That thing that Democrats say never happens – just happened again.
Ada Ngozi Otuka is 63 years old, a lawful permanent resident of Houston, a citizen of the United Kingdom, and a convicted election fraudster who just pleaded guilty to voting illegally in American elections in 2012, 2016, 2018, 2020, and 2024.
Five elections. Twelve years. Not once did anyone catch it — until Otuka herself admitted it on a naturalization application in 2025, where she apparently decided to come clean about the years of illegal voting she’d been conducting in the country she was trying to officially join.
U.S. Attorney Aaron Reitz put it plainly: “Our republic can only function when elections are free, fair, and secure. My office is doing its part.”
The mechanism by which this went undetected for over a decade is exactly the problem the SAVE America Act was designed to fix. When you don’t require proof of citizenship to register and you don’t rigorously cross-check voter rolls against immigration databases, noncitizen voting isn’t just possible — it’s practically invisible until someone confesses. Otuka didn’t get caught by the system. The system didn’t catch her at all. She turned herself in.
That’s not a security system. That’s a prayer.
Woman named “Ada Ngozi Otuka” from the UK illegally votes in American elections in Texas in 2012, 16, 18, 20, and 24.
Now she’ll face the full force of the Law.

Otuka faces up to six years for falsely claiming U.S. citizenship and an additional year for illegal voting, plus potential fines of up to $250,000. Her sentencing is scheduled for November 5 — Election Day — which is either a coincidence or a message, depending on how you want to read it.
The case arrives at the perfect moment to punctuate the broader election integrity picture. New Jersey just admitted 6,600 noncitizens were registered to vote — nearly 400 of whom actually cast ballots — and a Biden-appointed judge has blocked the DOJ from accessing the state’s voter rolls to investigate further. Virginia found 6,531 admitted noncitizens on its rolls and agreed to pause their removal in the 90-day window before elections. The Trump administration’s declassified intelligence identified 270,000 noncitizen registrations across just four cooperating states. The states blocking federal access to their rolls — California, New Jersey, Michigan, Minnesota — are the ones with the most to hide.
Democrats say noncitizen voting is a myth. The DOJ keeps finding cases. Virginia’s DMV data keeps flagging noncitizen registrations. New Jersey’s software keeps registering people who declared themselves noncitizens. And a British woman who voted in five consecutive American elections just pleaded guilty in a Texas federal court.
Every one of those votes canceled out the vote of an American citizen. Every single one.
This is why the SAVE America Act exists. This is why Trump stood before the nation and revealed declassified intelligence about election integrity. This is why seven Republican senators are blocking the August recess and demanding a vote.
Ada Otuka voted for twelve years without anyone stopping her. The system failed. The fix is sitting in the Senate.
Pass the bill.
