“This is the most consequential election of our lifetime.” Ever heard that expression? Of course, you have. You’ve likely heard it for years, or at least the past several election cycles. Well, you’re going to be hearing it again – a lot – during the upcoming midterms and beyond, because it’s finally become a phrase with real meaning. It’s no longer hyperbole.
And you can thank what the Democrat Party is becoming for the change.
Speaker Mike Johnson put all of this in plain terms Sunday, and he’s right: in 100 days, American voters face the most consequential midterm election in the history of this republic. That’s because the choice isn’t between two competing visions of tax policy or healthcare. It’s between common sense and crazy.
Between America and communism.
Those aren’t campaign slogans. They’re accurate descriptions of what’s on the ballot.
The Democratic Party of Harry Truman, of John Kennedy, of Tip O’Neill — the party that fought communism, won the Cold War, and believed in American greatness even when it argued about how to achieve it — is gone. What replaced it is losing an internal civil war to “democratic socialists” who are communists in all but name. The DSA platform calls for abolishing the Senate, abolishing private property, opening the borders, defunding the police, taking over all means of production, and emptying the prisons. A majority of Democratic voters — 52% by Fox News polling, 66% by Gallup — now view socialism favorably. Their candidates are winning primaries. They are governing New York City. They are writing the platform that will define the next Democratic administration if Republicans fail to hold the line in November.
An ad Johnson released Sunday shows exactly that contrast — Americana on one side, rioting and looting on the other. It shouldn’t require an ad. The evidence is everywhere. San Francisco’s commercial districts have collapsed under failed progressive governance. Portland has spent years conducting an uncontrolled experiment in what happens when a city gives up on law enforcement. Chicago. Baltimore. Minneapolis. Name the city. Find the progressive mayor. Read the crime statistics. Draw your own conclusions.
In 100 days, the people of this country have a critical choice: common sense or crazy.

Meanwhile, what have Republicans actually delivered? Lower inflation. Record business formation — 3.5 million new businesses in the first half of 2026. Toyota investing $3.6 billion in Texas. TSMC committing $265 billion to Arizona. The largest manufacturing resurgence in decades. A nuclear program turned to rubble. An American hostage home from Iran. Four FBI Most Wanted fraudsters captured in five weeks. A border that is finally closed.
The only thing standing between this record and the next four years of it is 100 days of voting — and the SAVE America Act, which may or may not pass in time to protect those votes from the very fraud Republicans spent the past year documenting and declassifying for the country to see.
Here is the ask. If you support America — its Constitution, its free enterprise system, its inalienable rights, its future — vote. Drive however far you have to. Take everyone you know. Leave nothing on the table.
The Democrats have already told you what they intend to do if they win: kill the filibuster, pack the Supreme Court, and federalize elections in their favor permanently. That is not speculation. They signed their names to it.
One hundred days. One choice.
