Democrats Just Published Their Takeover Plan — and Republicans Had Better Wake Up

They’re not hiding it anymore. They’re not even trying to.

Key House Democratic caucus leaders — the progressive, black, and Hispanic caucus chairs who represent the beating heart of today’s radical left — have now put their agenda in writing. The moment they take back Congress in November, the plan is simple, brazen, and existential: kill the Senate filibuster on day one, pack the Supreme Court with activist judges, and cement a structural electoral advantage so overwhelming that Republicans may never win another national election again.

This is not a fever dream. This is not conservative paranoia. This is a resolution. It is on paper. They signed their names to it. And they are daring Republicans to do something about it.

Trump saw it immediately and said what needed to be said with characteristic bluntness: “They do this, and the Republican Party is DEAD.” He’s right. And he’s been right about this for months while the Republican Senate caucus has been sitting on its hands, protecting a Senate procedural rule that Democrats have already announced they will incinerate the second they get the chance.

Let’s walk through exactly what the Democratic plan means in practice, because the mainstream media is going to do everything in its power to make sure you don’t think too hard about it.

Step one: kill the filibuster. This is the master key that unlocks everything else. The 60-vote threshold is the only thing standing between the current moment and a complete Democratic legislative steamroller. Kill it, and every radical priority the left has been unable to pass for decades — amnesty, gun confiscation, federalized elections, the Green New Deal — passes on a simple majority vote. No Republican input required. No compromise necessary. No checks. No balances. Just raw power exercised without restraint.

Step two: pack the Supreme Court. This one is the most important and the least discussed. The left learned a painful lesson over the last decade — that a constitutionalist Supreme Court majority is an immovable obstacle to their agenda. They can pass whatever they want through Congress, and a 6-3 conservative court will strike it down. So the solution, in their minds, is simple: add four or five new justices, confirm them on a party-line vote with the filibuster already dead, and transform the nation’s highest court from a constitutional check into a rubber stamp for progressive legislation. Court packing is not a hypothetical. It is the explicit, documented goal of the caucuses that just put this resolution forward.

Step three: add new states. Puerto Rico and Washington D.C. statehood aren’t just about representation — they’re about four guaranteed Democratic Senate seats that would give the left a structural majority that demographics and voter trends alone might not deliver. Combined with packed courts and federalized elections, this creates a lock on power so complete that winning it back through normal democratic processes becomes nearly impossible.

Chris Murphy accidentally told the truth last week when he admitted on a podcast that his party views the filibuster as an obstacle to their “core economic ideas” and fully intends to eliminate or reform it the moment they’re back in power. Murphy tried to dress it up in moderate language about compromise and reform, but the resolution his colleagues just published stripped away the pretense. There is no moderate wing of the Democratic Party anymore. There is only the question of how fast the radicals move once they hold the levers.

Trump’s response to all of this has been consistent, urgent, and completely correct: kill the filibuster now, pass the SAVE America Act, and lock in election integrity requirements before Democrats get the chance to lock in the opposite. Proof of citizenship. Photo ID. The basic, common-sense measures that the overwhelming majority of Americans support and that every functioning democracy on earth requires. Pass it now, on a party-line vote, while Republicans still can — or watch Democrats pass their version of election law the moment they take back the Senate, on a party-line vote, making it structurally impossible for Republicans to ever win again.

This is not a complicated strategic calculation. It is the simplest math in American politics. Republicans have 53 Senate seats right now. They have the majority. They have the presidency. They have the House. They have every tool they need to act. And John Thune cannot find 51 votes.

Let that sink in. In a 53-seat majority, Mitch McConnell and Lisa Murkowski are actively working to kill the most important election integrity legislation in a generation — a bill supported by the President of the United States — because they would rather protect a Senate rule that Democrats have publicly announced they will destroy the second they get the chance. This is not principled moderation. This is not statesmanship. This is political malpractice on a historic scale, and the people responsible for it need to be named, shamed, and held accountable by every Republican voter in America.

The Democrats have shown you their cards. They are not bluffing. They are not posturing. The progressive, black, and Hispanic caucus chairs put their names on a document spelling out exactly what they intend to do with power — and they did it because they are confident they are going to get it. They believe they are going to win in November. They believe Republicans are too divided, too timid, and too wedded to procedural norms that Democrats have already decided to abandon.

They might be right.
