RINO John Cornyn Isn’t Taking His Loss to Ken Paxton Well AT ALL

It’s going to be a rough seven months for conservatives – and President Trump. The mounting defeats of RINOs in the House and Senate has left them bitter and looking for some payback, which they will mete out against Trump and the rest of the party at big cost to their constituents (who rejected them).

So fair warning to my fellow conservatives: Buckle up. It’s gonna be a frustrating ride until next January that will be made even worse if we lose control of one or both chambers in November.

Which brings me to Sen. John Cornyn. After getting soundly whupped by Trump-backed Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, the former is already crashing out over his loss.

He has posted an interview where he endorsed Paxton’s Libertarian opponent, then went on to blast reports of his betrayal as “fake news.”

The post and ‘reversal’ earned Cornyn the dreaded “Community Note” treatment on X:

There is nothing fake about the post. Sen. John Cornyn did, indeed, share an article about the Libertarian candidate seeking Texas’ U.S. Senate seat currently held by Mr. Cornyn.

MORE:

The original article Cornyn helped to boost promoted Libertarian nominee Ted Brown’s campaign strategy of siphoning off RINOs who “aren’t satisfied with the primary results” and thus desire to tank the GOP ticket.

Cornyn’s tenure as a do-nothing Republican came to an unceremonious end after losing 248 counties in his primary election. In one of those counties, Cornyn managed to secure a whopping six total votes to Paxton’s two.

Cornyn, who portrayed himself as a seasoned politician that Republicans needed in order to pass vital legislation but utterly failed to advance the SAVE Act, will find himself without a job and cushy taxpayer checks come inauguration season in January.

This is what is so maddening. It’s this RINO behavior that led to Cornyn’s loss in the first place. Even in defeat, the behavior continues. It’s like these goofballs are incapable of learning lessons.

In the meantime, Paxton and Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick went to the White House to discuss strategy on keeping Texas red.

Again, buckle up, kids. These loser RINOs like Cornyn, Sen. Thom Tillis, and Rep. Thomas Massie are going to make life heck for conservatives. It’s going to happen. And while the objective is to “get back at Trump,” the right in general will suffer.

In the end, though, it’ll work out because these fools will be replaced with true America Firsters.
