Trump, Musk Reunite For Major Administration Project

Text size

On the campaign trail, they were glued at the hip — laughing, plotting, and electrifying the crowds. After the win, Trump handed Elon Musk the keys to his brand-new Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). The Tesla titan dove in headfirst, unleashing AI to rip out fraud and waste from Washington like never before.

But then came the bust-up. The bromance blew apart over Trump’s One Big Beautiful Bill, and Musk retreated to his empire, staying out of the political spotlight.

Fast forward to Charlie Kirk’s funeral — the two shockingly reunited, shaking hands for the cameras. And now? The bombshell dropped Wednesday: Trump and Musk are BACK in business together, according to a new report from Fox News:

The Trump administration agency that manages the government’s real estate holdings, procurement and technology services is partnering with Elon Musk’s xAI in a move it says will cost effectively streamline federal workflow.

The General Services Administration announced on Thursday morning that federal agencies will now have access to Grok 4 and Grok 4 Fast as part of an agreement with xAI, valid until March 2027, that Musk says will make government drive innovation in government.

“xAI has the most powerful AI compute and most capable AI models in the world,” Musk, co-founder and CEO of xAI, said in a statement to Fox News Digital.

The Tesla, SpaceX, and Starlink boss appeared to be enthused about the reunion. “Thanks to President Trump and his administration, xAI’s frontier AI is now unlocked for every federal agency empowering the U.S. Government to innovate faster and accomplish its mission more effectively than ever before,” Musk said.

“We look forward to continuing to work with President Trump and his team to rapidly deploy AI throughout the government for the benefit of the country,” he added.

Musk and Trump aren’t just titans in their own right — they’re forces of nature chasing the same big goals. When they’re on the same team, Washington trembles. The hope? This latest deal slashes even more federal bloat and keeps both men charging full speed ahead instead of clashing at cross purposes.
