SEE IT: Harris Crumbles Under Tough Questioning During New Interviews

With Election Day less than two weeks away, Vice President Kamala Harris has encountered challenging moments in interviews following her recent media push. During consecutive appearances on NBC News and Telemundo, Harris struggled to clearly articulate her policies, especially concerning immigration and the economy.

During an interview with Telemundo’s Julio Vaqueiro, the conversation quickly turned to illegal immigration—a pressing issue in the 2024 election. Vaqueiro opened the discussion by highlighting the Democratic Party’s apparent shift away from advocating for a “pathway to citizenship,” and appear now to be pushing for “mass amnesty.” He began, “Democrats aren’t talking about a ‘pathway to citizenship’ anymore.” Harris jumped in: “I am! I am talking about it!” The exchange continued focused on deportations — something former President Donald Trump has promised if he wins — with Vaqueiro pressing, “We’re talking about mass deportations.” Harris stumbled slightly before replying, “I’m not talking about…” but trailed off as Vaqueiro pushed again: “What’s your stance there?” Harris finally stated, “Mass amnesty.”

During an interview on NBC News, Harris was questioned about her economic strategy by host Hallie Jackson. Jackson referred to a recent NBC News poll which showed that more Americans believe the Biden administration’s policies have had a negative rather than a positive impact on them. In response, Harris’s answer was characterized by frequent pauses and repeated phrases. “First of all, let me be very clear, mine will not be a continuation of the Biden administration,” the VP insisted, trying to distance herself from President Joe Biden’s record. “I am very clear, cost of groceries [is] still too high. The voters know it, I know it.”

However, Harris’s explanation was punctuated with repeated words and phrases, making her message difficult to follow. At one point, she emphasized, “The example is what I’m going to do to expand the child tax credit because, listen, young parents in particular, they need help.” Despite her efforts to clarify her policies, Harris appeared to struggle with staying on message.

The NBC interview took a different turn when Harris addressed the contrast between her economic plan and Trump’s. She claimed that her proposals would strengthen the economy, while his would lead to higher inflation and potential recession. “Economists from Nobel laureates to Goldman Sachs have reviewed my economic plan versus Donald Trump’s and… in comparison, have found that my plans will strengthen America’s economy,” she falsely claimed. The interviewer asked: “Why do you think that’s not landing with voters?”
