A 42-year-old Miami woman named Ayzha Flenoury was arrested and charged with multiple counts of grand theft and burglary after police linked her to three separate incidents in which men blacked out after a night out and woke up missing some very expensive wristwatches. Miami-Dade jail and court records confirmed the arrest.
The first case goes back to April, when a man met a woman at a club, brought her back to his hotel, and blacked out. When he came to, his BR Minuteur Tourbillon titanium watch, worth around $170,000, was gone. So was his wallet and two credit cards. While he was unconscious, those cards were used to run up over $1,500 in charges at Target, Publix, and Walgreens. Nothing says classy night out like a $170,000 watch and a Publix run on someone else’s dime.
Then in July, a man brought two women back to his apartment and they walked out with his $15,000 Rolex. He actually chased after them, but they jumped in a car and took off. At least that guy was conscious enough to try. Miami luxury watch theft arrests The third victim had it worst. He met two women at a club last month, went to a motel with them, lost consciousness, and ended up hospitalized. His $15,000 Rolex and $1,200 iPhone were both gone when he came to.
Flenoury was tied to all three cases. At her bond court appearance, a prosecutor spelled out the pattern pretty clearly. “So these are the typical bad date cases, the victim meets the defendant at a bar, she gives the victim alcohol, they go back to the hotel or the apartments, the victim passes out and realizes that their very expensive wrist watch is missing and in some cases credits cards as well with unauthorized charges,” the prosecutor said.
It also came out that Flenoury has prior convictions in Miami-Dade connected to prostitution and drugs, plus priors in roughly seven other states stretching from New Jersey all the way to California. That is what you might call a nationwide career.
Flenoury now faces multiple charges of grand theft and burglary as the cases move through the courts. If the prosecutor’s description of a coast-to-coast rap sheet is any indication, Miami probably was not her first rodeo, and the courts will get a chance to make sure it is her last one for a good long while.
And at the end of the day, I think the guys who went home with that creature deserve to be arrested to. How desperate do you have to be that you make all this money to afford a nice watch, but can’t get yourself a date that doesn’t look like it crawled out of a Miami sewer?
