Rep. Brandon Gill made an SPLC lawyer look silly when he asked her a few simple questions about HER OWN social media posts. Her answer was for him to ask President Donald Trump, which literally made no sense. But of course, that’s Democrats for ya!
Congressman Brandon Gill went head-to-head with SPLC lawyer Maya Wiley in a tense congressional hearing over controversial remarks about “Black jobs,” policing, and taxpayer-funded activism. The clash escalated when Gill pressed Wiley on progressive policies tied to defunding the police, public safety issues, and political rhetoric surrounding Donald Trump.
The fiery exchange has stirred nationwide debate on race, law enforcement, free speech, and government-backed advocacy, with critics and supporters weighing in as the hearing emerges as one of Washington’s most talked-about political showdowns, energizing conversation ahead of the U.S. elections.
The funniest part of the political conversation came when Rep. Gill asked Miley what a ‘black job’ is.
Gill: “What is a black job?”
Wiley: “You’d have to ask Donald Trump. I’m not sure what that means.”
Gill: “I’m referring to a statement that you made a year ago on your LinkedIn: ‘I was so honored and proud to be a New York State delegate for our next president with Vice President Kamala Harris ascending to her black job.’ What is a black job?”
Wiley: “You’ll have to ask Donald Trump.”
Gill: “Donald Trump’s not on the witness stand.”
Wiley: “Well, I’m here to talk about hate crime, which I hope you want to talk about.”
Gill: “Could Hillary Clinton have filled that black job?”
Wiley: “You have to ask Donald Trump.”
Gill: “Okay, thank you. I appreciate it.”
Wiley, if you’re trying to make people laugh at you, then you’ve succeeded. Is this the best the SPLC can do? What does Donald Trump have to do with any of this? It’s like the Democrats don’t have a defense for anything wrong they do, so they just blame Trump for literally everything.
It’s raining, oh wow, blame Trump. That’s their logic and it’s entirely flawed. Come to think of it, it’s funny how Democrats constantly point the finger and blame Trump or Republicans for things, but when you look deeper – it’s the Democrats who cause the issues they’re mostly complaining about.
I’m not convinced anyone with a functional brain is actually voting for Democrats. Are you?
