Marjorie Taylor Greene is calling out the Trump White House, and she’s not mincing words. The former Georgia Republican congresswoman posted a blistering message on X saying the administration is “pretending” to gear up to deport Minnesota Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar while Americans are getting crushed by inflation, sky-high health insurance costs, and another foreign war.
MTG will eat crow on this later, but let’s dive into exactly what the conservative queen was touting, because it sounds like she’s defending Ilhan Omar just to spite Trump. I’m not quite sure why MTG and Trump should be feuding at all, but for some reason, that relationship went south a long time ago, unfortunately.
Greene made clear she and Omar aren’t exactly best friends. Me and Ilhan Omar are far apart policy wise. I’m pro life, she’s pro abortion. I’m pro [Second Amendment], she’s pro gun control. And on and on,” she wrote. But she said the political theater isn’t putting food on anyone’s table.
But can someone tell me how pretending to get ready to deport Ilhan Omar is going to bring gas down under $2, make health insurance freaking affordable, make a family’s weekly grocery bill make sense, and stop sending our beloved military off to fight for another f-cking foreign war???” Greene wrote. She then really let loose: “People are so sick and tired of the bullsh-t. When you dumb mf’ers at the WH actually release the Epstein files and lock up the pedophiles and rapists you all hang out with, then we will start paying attention.” The Justice Department and the White House did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
All of this comes after the federal investigation targeting Omar made serious headlines Monday. The DOJ confirmed that Homeland Security Investigations agents executed a judicially authorized search warrant at Omar’s Washington, D.C., residence as part of an ongoing federal criminal investigation. Anonymous U.S. officials and sources told the Wall Street Journal that one goal of the investigation is stripping Omar of her U.S. citizenship and deporting her.
That’s a legit investigation and MTG is trying to combine that with gas prices, and she doesn’t really make sense by putting the two in even the same paragraph.
MTG wants to know how deporting Ilhan Omar will fix gas prices, but here’s the thing – what does deporting Ilhan Omar have anything to do with gas prices in the first place? They are two completely different issues and both can be worked on at the same time, by different people. MTG is just running her mouth for the sake of attention, in my view.
Omar, a naturalized U.S. citizen who represents Minnesota’s 5th Congressional District, denied any wrongdoing and called the search politically motivated. “Make no mistake: this is an attempt to target political enemies and weaponize federal law enforcement,” she said in a statement. “I will not be silenced.”
Of course Ilhan Omar will say that, but she knows she’s possibly on the brink of being packed on a flight home to Somalia where she can go screw up their government instead of ours. Do they even have a government in Somalia? I don’t know and I don’t care.
So now you’ve got a conservative firecracker blasting the White House no reason, and a far-left Democratic congresswoman wrapping herself in the Constitution acting like she loves America – but she really doesn’t. Welcome to Washington in 2026, folks. Greene’s message is pretty simple: fix gas prices, fix groceries, stay out of foreign wars, and open the Epstein files – but MTG forgets that NONE OF THAT HAS ANYTHING TO DO WITH DEPORTING ILHAN OMAR!
It’s time for MTG to realize we can accomplish more than one thing at a time, and each of those things are not always connected or related in any way. I thought that was a simple concept, even someone in third grade could understand. But it’s MTG and she’s sometimes off the wall. Can someone reel her in like a fish, because we do not need this nonsense going on during midterms.
MTG, you either get in line with the right side of politics, or go be a closet-Democrat somewhere else.
