Karoline Leavitt is not closing the door on a possible move from the White House briefing room to Fox News.
The former White House press secretary appeared on Sean Hannity’s prime-time program Thursday night, where the longtime Fox host openly floated the idea of Leavitt getting a show of her own.
Hannity even came prepared with a title: “The Briefing with Karoline Leavitt.” “How does it sound: The Briefing with Karoline Leavitt? How do you like the sound of that?” Hannity asked. Leavitt stopped short of confirming any talks with Fox or announcing television plans, but her response kept the speculation alive.
“Well, Sean, we have had our segment before, you and me,” Leavitt replied. “I will continue to join your show anytime you want, that’s for sure.” Fox News has not announced a new program or employment agreement involving Leavitt.

The exchange comes just weeks after Leavitt left her high-profile role as President Donald Trump’s press secretary. Her final day at the White House was Aug. 27, ending a tenure that began when she became the youngest person ever to serve as White House press secretary.
Leavitt said she stepped away from the demanding position after the birth of her second child, explaining that she wanted to devote more time to her family while remaining involved in public life. A move to Fox would follow a well-established path for former White House press secretaries.
Dana Perino, who served under President George W. Bush, later became one of Fox News’ most prominent personalities. Former Trump press secretary Kayleigh McEnany also joined the network after leaving the White House and went on to become a co-host of “Outnumbered.”
For now, Leavitt has made no formal announcement about joining Fox News. But Hannity’s on-air pitch — and Leavitt’s refusal to rule it out — gave viewers plenty of reason to wonder whether her next briefing room could be a television studio.
