Kamala Harris Spews Wild Election Conspiracy But the Video Is Really Something

The woman who spent $1.4 billion losing every swing state is back. And she has thoughts on election integrity.

Kamala Harris posted a video Thursday claiming that Trump is trying to rig the November midterms — specifically by requiring states to tell the Postal Service who should be receiving federal mail-in ballots so that each one gets a unique tracking identifier. “They are cheating. They are trying to cheat,” she said. “And we have got to turn out in big numbers and be too big to rig.”

Remember when President Trump was talking “rigged elections” and “cheating?” Kam Bam laughed at him as did the bulk of the garbage media and all Democrats. Now that it looks a lot like Republicans will hold onto power in the fall, we get this insanity from the queen of Word Salads.

That said, let’s move on and unpack what she said.

The “cheating” Kamala is describing is: knowing which voters are supposed to receive federal ballots, putting barcodes on those envelopes so they can be tracked through the mail system, and verifying that what goes out matches what comes back. This is how FedEx delivers packages. It is how the IRS tracks certified mail. It is basic chain-of-custody documentation that any honest election system should have and that Democrats have spent two years fighting in court.

She also deployed the “he votes by mail from Mar-a-Lago” argument — suggesting that because Trump uses absentee voting himself, he’s a hypocrite for wanting mail ballots tracked. This would only make sense if you believe that wanting to know your ballot was delivered and counted correctly is somehow an argument against verifying other people’s ballots were delivered and counted correctly.

It doesn’t make sense. Because it isn’t a coherent argument. It’s a talking point assembled at speed for a 47-second video.

This week’s Supreme Court decision is another reminder of what we are up against heading into November.

They can put more obstacles in our way, but they cannot take away our power. Our answer is to show up, make our voices heard, and turn out in numbers that are too big to rig. pic.twitter.com/bLTKCDDWfe

About that video. Townhall’s team counted 15 editorial cuts in 47 seconds. That’s a cut every three seconds. The script is less than 100 words. What exactly required 15 takes to assemble into a minute of coherent thought is left as an exercise for the viewer.

For what it’s worth, an Obama-appointed judge has already blocked the USPS rule — so Kamala’s video arrived after the “cheating” she described was already halted by a sympathetic court. The warning she was issuing was about something that, as of Thursday, wasn’t even in effect.

But the substance matters more than the timing. The party that spent years telling us election denial is the greatest threat to democracy just accused the incumbent administration of election rigging — based on a USPS tracking requirement. The party that censored the Hunter Biden laptop story, ran Operation Round River to bury Biden corruption as “Russian disinformation,” and had the FBI open a criminal investigation of a sitting president for firing the FBI director is now posting videos about people trying to cheat.

The projection would be funny if it weren’t so complete.

Fifteen cuts. Forty-seven seconds. Three incoherent talking points. Two months out from the midterms. This is what the Democratic Party’s election strategy looks like without a new face to put on it.
