Another day, another left-wing nutjob auditioning for a cell at a federal prison, thanks to their Stage 4 Trump Derangement Syndrome.
Larry Krasner stood before a crowd this week and told them he’s dreaming of the day he gets a piece of the White House ballroom “after we blow it up.” He’d keep it as a paperweight, he said. Then he caught himself — “In an official ceremony, just so we’re clear” — as the hamster wheel in his head slowly registered what he had just said out loud at a public event.
This is the District Attorney of Philadelphia. The city’s chief law enforcement officer. The man George Soros has spent millions to keep in that office, specifically because he refuses to enforce laws against the people Soros’s political network wants protected. And because Soros is a commie who is financing the destruction of Western civilization – the same one that made him fabulously wealthy.
The “official ceremony” backpedal didn’t help. The ballroom is privately funded — Krasner said taxpayers deserved their money back, which suggests he doesn’t know the basic facts of the project he’s fantasizing about demolishing. And a public official describing plans to “blow up” a presidential structure — even as a metaphor — is the kind of statement that federal law takes seriously when the subject is the life or safety of protected facilities or persons.
The same Krasner called ICE agents “wannabe Nazis” and promised to “hunt you down the way they hunted down Nazis for decades” — a direct threat against federal law enforcement officers doing their lawful jobs. He then vowed to arrest ICE agents for enforcing immigration law in Philadelphia, told them the president cannot pardon them, and described his intention to put federal officers “in handcuffs” and “in a jail cell.” Mind you, he’s a member of the same party that actually nominated a Nazi tattoo-wearing candidate for the U.S. Senate.
Meanwhile, Philadelphia has one of the highest homicide rates of any major American city. Krasner’s response to that reality is to release violent criminals on the theory that incarceration is racist, allow criminal illegal aliens to walk free rather than hand them to ICE, and spend his public appearances threatening federal law enforcement and fantasizing about demolishing White House construction projects.
This is the same DA who stonewalled Rep. Jim Jordan’s (R-Ohio) congressional subpoena for months, sent a lawyer instead of documents, and issued a statement calling the House Judiciary Committee’s investigation “baseless” — before the subpoena deadline forced the issue.
The left loves to lecture America about threats to democracy. The DA of Philadelphia — funded by George Soros, who has poured money into DA races across the country specifically to elect people like Krasner — just stood in front of an audience and described blowing up a federal structure as a future goal while simultaneously threatening to arrest the agents enforcing immigration law.
That’s not a defense of democracy. That’s a crime. The Secret Service and the FBI need to charge him. Enough already.
