Iran Launched a Surprise Ballistic Missile Attack on American Forces – BIG Mistake

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps fired multiple ballistic missiles at U.S. forces in the Middle East Tuesday at 5:45 PM Eastern. Every single one was intercepted. Then America and Saudi Arabia hit back — hard.

CENTCOM confirmed it in two posts that together tell the complete story of what this administration’s Iran policy actually looks like in practice. First: all Iranian missiles successfully intercepted. U.S. forces remain vigilant and at a high state of readiness. Second: U.S. and Saudi fighter aircraft conducted precision strikes across eastern Iraq, targeting IRGC-directed terrorist logistics and weapons sites responsible for more than 30 drone attacks in the previous 72 hours.

The IRGC fired. We intercepted everything. Then we destroyed their proxy infrastructure in Iraq. That’s the sequence. That’s the policy.

The scale of what Iran has been attempting in the region deserves to be stated plainly. From February through April 2026 alone, Iran-aligned terrorist militias in Iraq made more than 600 attempted attacks on U.S. citizens and facilities. Six hundred. In three months. These are not isolated incidents or freelance operations. This is a coordinated, IRGC-directed sustained campaign against American forces — the same forces that are simultaneously managing negotiations, enforcing no-fly zones, and projecting American power across a region that Iran has spent 47 years trying to dominate.

And now Iran is firing ballistic missiles at those forces directly, from Iranian soil, while simultaneously sitting at a negotiating table and asking for sanctions relief.

The Saudi involvement is the underreported detail that matters most. Riyadh isn’t just providing basing access or diplomatic cover anymore — Saudi fighter aircraft are flying alongside American planes and striking Iranian proxies in Iraq together. Saudi Arabia has decided that the IRGC’s campaign against its energy infrastructure is a line that required a military response, and it’s making that response in coordination with the United States. This is what a functioning regional coalition against Iranian aggression actually looks like — and it’s a direct product of an administration that treats allies like partners rather than afterthoughts.

Trump’s warning last week was specific: one ship attack, one bridge or power plant. The IRGC apparently decided to test whether he meant it by launching ballistic missiles directly at American forces instead. The answer arrived the same evening: all missiles intercepted, proxy infrastructure destroyed, CENTCOM issued a direct warning that further attacks would bring further response.

The left spent the Biden years watching Iran accumulate centrifuges, fund proxies, and fire at American forces while the administration pursued a nuclear deal that Tehran used as a delay tactic. Those days are over. Iran fires. America shoots it down. Then America destroys what Iran used to plan the attack.

That’s not a policy statement. That’s a Tuesday.

The IRGC and its terrorist proxies have been warned. The Tuesday response makes clear the warning is not hollow.
