The DSA Just Confirmed It Wants to Abolish America and Only Fetterman Had the Guts to Push Back

In case you’ve been living in a cave recently, the Democrat Party is being consumed by commies. And what these commies want to do to our country if they ever, God forbid, gain power, is to – in Barack Obama’s 2008 words – “fundamentally” change it.

And not in a good way.

On Sunday, Fox News anchor Shannon Bream did something simple that the rest of the mainstream media has been avoiding: she asked a Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) leader to confirm, on camera, what the DSA actually stands for.

DSA national co-chair Megan Romer confirmed all of it: Abolish the Senate. Abolish the presidency as it currently exists. Abolish the Supreme Court. Abolish prisons. Abolish borders. Defund the Pentagon — enthusiastically, with apparent relish, despite the fact that providing for the common defense is a primary constitutional obligation of the federal government.

If you abolish all of those things, you haven’t reformed America. You’ve replaced it with something that has never existed and has never worked anywhere it’s been tried.

Pennsylvania Sen. John Fetterman (D) watched the clip and posted what every honest American was thinking: “This isn’t a big tent — it’s anarchy.” He listed the four abolition proposals with emoji — Senate, Pentagon, presidency, prisons — and then asked the question that nobody in Democratic leadership will answer: “Why can’t Dems call out the DSA?”

Why, indeed.

It’s a devastating question precisely because the answer is so obvious. Chuck Schumer can’t call out the DSA because he needs their voters. Hakeem Jeffries can’t call out the DSA because when New York socialists stood outside his office chanting that he was next, he bent over and said nothing — calculating that accommodation was safer than confrontation. The entire Democratic establishment has made the same calculation, repeatedly, at every stage of the socialist takeover, and the result is a party where 52% of members now view socialism favorably and the DSA’s co-chair can go on national television and confirm she wants to abolish the Pentagon without a single party leader publicly disowning her.

That’s not a big tent. That’s a party that has already lost the argument internally and is hoping the general public doesn’t notice until after November.

Fetterman noticed. He’s one of the only Democrats willing to say what he sees out loud — which is why conservatives find themselves in the unusual position of appreciating a Democratic senator more than his own party leadership does. He called DSA pushers in his party “communists” last month. He called Mamdani a clown last week. He’s now calling out the DSA’s abolition agenda directly. At some point, his presence in the Democratic Party becomes untenable — not for him, but for them.

Here’s the broader political reality that Jeffries and Schumer are sleepwalking into: you cannot run a 2026 midterm campaign on kitchen table issues while your party’s activist base is on Fox News confirming they want to abolish the Pentagon. Every Republican in a competitive district should be running that clip on a loop from now until November, paired with a simple question: do you agree with the DSA?

Make every Democrat answer it. On the record. Publicly.

Fetterman already has. The rest of his party has been conspicuously silent.

That silence is the answer.
