Trump’s Midas Touch: His Preferred Candidate Just Won the GOP Nomination In Louisiana

President Trump’s endorsement continues to be political gold.  The Louisiana GOP Senate runoff election featured a contest between two America First candidates after incumbent Sen. Bill Cassidy, who voted to impeach Trump after the Jan. 6 Capitol riot, was decisively eliminated in the first round of voting earlier this year. Rep. Julia Letlow is advancing to the General Election.

Letlow enjoyed a robust array of endorsements from prominent state leaders and national figures, including the highly sought-after endorsement from President Donald Trump. In contrast, John Flemming, the Louisiana State Treasurer and a former congressman, ran a campaign aligned with MAGA ideals but struggled to gain traction with any notable political backers.

Letlow’s victory represents another significant success for a Trump-backed candidate in the evolving landscape of U.S. Senate races.

As for Cassidy, his fate was sealed the moment he blamed Trump for Jan. 6. But he’s just one of several RINOs and TDS-infected Republicans who will be gone from Congress come January 2027:

Cassidy had marked the first of the GOP Trump critics to be defeated as the primary season began to take hold, quickly followed by the end of Thomas Massie and John Cornyn’s political careers in similarly disastrous electoral performances.

Trump is Trump. We all know who he is. We also know that, while he may be demanding and gruff at times, he is also making our country a better place, regardless of how we get there. And never forget: If Kamala had won, the immigration invasion spigot would have been turned back on, wind and solar farms would be springing up on good farmland, DEI would have continued, and the world would be on fire because her diplomatic ‘skills’ were a joke.
