Trump Just Delivered A Big Update On The Deal With Iran

President Trump is getting a lot of heat for the recent signing of the Memorandum of Understanding ending hostilities with Iran for now. The president has said that it’s just that – an MoU – and that no permanent peace deal has yet been signed.

Republicans especially are not happy. While most GOP lawmakers have not outright criticized Trump, they have mostly to a member said that Iran cannot be trusted to make any deal, so there should not even be any effort to try.

They have a point. Iran cheated on Obama’s deal. Iran has cheated on other agreements it has made with countries. So assuming Iran will cheat now is fair. But here’s the difference. Obama didn’t do jack squat to degrade Iran’s military capabilities, nor did any other country. Trump did. Relentless attacks by both U.S. and Israeli forces destroyed most of Iran’s military capabilities. For crying out loud, a U.S. submarine actually sank an Iranian warship – the first sinking of a ship by an American sub since World War II.

But Trump has a point, too. His message to detractors: Let’s “play it out.”

In a series of posts on Truth Social, the president sought to remind Americans of the extensive damage inflicted on what he called the world’s leading state sponsor of terrorism. Trump said it was the Iranian regime, not the United States, that came to the negotiating table out of desperation.

He went on to argue that Americans should allow the next 60 days of detailed and technical negotiations to unfold to determine whether Iran is genuinely willing to negotiate in good faith. After all, if Tehran chooses to play too many games, the president has said he has no hesitation in resuming military operations against the country.

? JUST IN: President Trump says he's going to "PLAY OUT" the next 60 days with Iran, who won't get "TEN CENTS" from America

"How stupid can some people be???"

“The War has diminished Iran!” the president wrote on Truth Social. “It doesn’t, any longer, have an Air Force, a Navy, Antiaircraft Equipment, Radar, or practically anything else, and yet the Dumocrats say that Iran is better off now than it was four months ago. Can you imagine getting away with that??? How stupid can some people be??? President DJT.”

“We didn’t meet out of desperation, Iran did,” Trump added in a separate post. “They are FINISHED! We’ll play out the 60 days. They get no money, not ten cents!”

The posts come as our fake news media and every single little-watched left-wing pundit on TV have claimed that Trump is handing the mulluhs $300 billion as part of the deal. He’s not. That money is performance-based and it only comes in the form of investments from Gulf-region countries.

Trump is right. It was time for a deal to be made and he made it. Now let’s see what happens, and in the meantime, enjoy cheaper gas and falling prices. Iran isn’t going to be a threat to anyone anytime soon.
