There’s no question that we, as a country, are as divided as we have been since the Civil War. There are varied reasons for this, but I’m just going to say it: Republicans and conservatives are not to blame. This division, anger, turmoil, and anti-Americanism is 100 percent coming from the left.
The Democrat Party is becoming anything but “democratic.” It’s turning into the American Communist/Socialist Party, and the old party leaders who also see it coming are powerless to stop the transformation.
Democrats will disagree with that, of course. But the data prove they are the ones who are hell-bent on destroying what built America and what made us great. CNN’s Harry Enten has the latest:

They can blame everything on President Trump. They can claim he’s a ‘Nazi’ or a ‘tyrant’ or a ‘dictator.’ He’s not any of those things, and in fact, it’s their party that just embraced a legitimate Nazi, that hate Jews, and that would change our system to impose their will on everyone.
The fact that we no longer have shared values like enforcing the law, securing the border, and celebrating the birth of our country is not just sad, it’s dangerous. We are literally a bifurcated country at this point. And the last time that happened, the result was horrendous.
Are we headed there again? Maybe not.
This time around, we don’t have to destroy half the country. We have a much better option: A peaceful divorce. Let Americans choose which ‘system’ they want with their feet.
That is actually happening already, hence the flight by conservatives out of woke, dangerous, expensive blue states. This is the answer, not violence. Red states are enforcing the law, working with the feds to get people out of the country who don’t belong here, following the Constitution, and respecting our traditions. In many places, teachers are getting the tech out of classrooms and requiring students to go back to using pens, pencils, and paper. There is a feeling of ‘America’ again with the Trump administration. And as Enten noted above, it’s our side that respects our founding and is eager to express it openly.
There is still a lot more to do to ensure we survive as founded for another 250 years. But I’m hopeful in that I believe there is a strong movement to uphold and defend America, even if it means we have to ‘divorce’ a plurality of the country.
Live and let live works. Let Democrats have their deep blue miserable hell if that’s what makes them happy. The rest of us will celebrate life, liberty, and happiness the way our founders intended.
