Democrats didn’t learn a damned thing from their disasterous 2024 performances. And since then, they’ve decided to double- and triple down on all the bad.
They still cling to the ‘trans’ issue. The love people in the country illegally more than American citizens. They still consider small business owners part of ‘the rich’ who need to be taxed into oblivion. Fossil fuels suck and should be eliminated. The border is a suggestion. Men belong in women’s sports. And so on.
Worse, they’re now pushing anti-God ‘preachers’ like James Talarico and Nazi-tattoo-wearing candidates like Graham Platner. Even as their own voters aren’t thrilled with all of this, according to CNN data cruncher Harry Enten:
Fewer Democrats (~46%) are satisfied with their party right now than they were with Biden as their nominee (53%) after the worst debate performance ever.
Dem voters “pissedoffness” has never been higher with their own party in Congress. Consistently negative ratings in Q-Pac.

Enten first highlighted the concerning satisfaction level among Democrats, with only 46 percent expressing contentment with the party. This figure is even lower than the 53 percent satisfaction rate recorded right after Joe Biden’s disastrous debate in 2024.
Currently, 52 percent of voters report being dissatisfied, which is a significant issue. Enten emphasized that their level of frustration has never been higher:
According to Enten, this shift is reflected in their congressional approval numbers. He put it into perspective by noting that their net approval rating was +22 in October 2025.
However, for the first time, they now have a negative net approval rating of -9, which marks a decline of over 30 points, particularly among their own Democratic voters. This is unprecedented.
So, have Democrat voters told the party where they want them to go, what they want them to change? Enten: Yes. Yes, they have.
Twenty-eight percent want the party to become more domestic terror-like by moving further to the left. Eighteen percent say the party is good where it is (yikes!). But nearly half – a whopping 47 percent – say to Democrats, ‘get your butts back to the center!’
And yet, what are party leaders doing? They’re catering to that 28 percent. Just look at the candidates party leaders are backing.
What are Dems mostly united on? Attacking President Trump, of course. But that’s not a policy prescription to fix what ails the country. That’s base emotions overriding sensible solutions, even if Trump and Republicans are the ones pushing them.
But that’s okay. As Napoleon is credited with saying, ‘Never interfere with your enemy when they are in the process of destroying themselves.’
