Though they try to come off as the smartest people in the room, Democrats are just not smart people.
You can’t believe the imbecilic things they believe and be smart. The two are mutually exclusive. So they already start every day with a mental deficit. Then, when you throw in Secretary of State Marco Rubio, a brilliant Republican, Democrats devolve into cartoonish clowns.
It’s a beautiful thing to behold.
Take Rep. Sara Jacobs of California (surprised?). For reasons unknown to me, this chunky woman who is a 5 on her best day tried to insult Rubio’s fashion and looks during a Wednesday House Foreign Affairs Committee hearing.
Boy, did it not go well for her. You should never insult someone else’s looks if you’re not at least a decent 7.5 to an 8.
First, she pushed her hair behind her unusually large ears. Then she followed that up with inappropriate subject matter. She really should just stick to asking policy questions.
By the by, Jacobs comes from one of those ‘oligarch’ families that the Democrats claim to despise. Typically, such families use their considerable wealth to enhance their daughters’ appearances. However, it seems that this family made a different choice. This could be seen as interesting and altruistic. After all, looks aren’t everything, and in this case, they seem to matter very little:

RUBIO: How can you see them? They’re way down here. We’re talking about SHOES, are you KIDDING ME?! I mean, is this the Foreign Affairs Committee or a CIRCUS?! What IS this?!

Shoe sizes? 2020 presidential election winner? Is she kidding? Rubio was exactly right to try to get this dolt to refocus on foreign policy, since that’s the committee she belongs to. But you could what the tenor of her ‘foreign policy’ questions likely were, too, with her political preening about a “war the U.S. is clearly losing.”
Absolutely unacceptable and outrageous, even for a Democrat. By no metric has the United States “lost” its conflict with Iran. No metric whatsoever. And for her to hide behind her “servicemember constituents” is even more abominable.
Back to my point that “Democrats aren’t smart.” You’d have to be as ignorant as a rock to not see your own insufferable behavior which has led to basement-level polling for your party.
