Former Attorney General Pam Bondi has had some health issues she’s been battling since leaving the Trump administration. But according to a social media post on Tuesday, she’s recovering nicely.
Oh, and she’s back with the administration, too, in a new role.
Katie Miller praised Bondi for her fierce determination in “kicking cancer’s ass.” Miller noted further that she approached the battle with the same grit she displays in championing America First values.
“[Pam] has a heart of gold,” she wrote on X. Katie is a former Trump 1.0 administration official and the wife of trusted Trump adviser Stephen Miller.

Bondi was battling thyroid cancer, which is highly cureable. It has a 98 percent survival rate after 5 years.
Katie Miller shared a screenshot of an Axios report that briefly disclosed the health update. She also highlighted that President Trump picked Bondi for a major role on the White House artificial intelligence advisory panel.
The Axios report noted that Bondi had “undergone treatment and is recovering,” though few additional details were included in the story.
Trump’s decision to appoint Bondi to the Presidential Council of Advisors on Science and Technology a longtime ally at the center of the administration’s rapidly expanding AI strategy.
In the role, Bondi will help coordinate discussions between the White House and major technology leaders serving on the panel, including Jensen Huang, Mark Zuckerberg, and Larry Ellison.
Trump says the advisory council as part of a broader effort to ensure the United States maintains technological dominance in artificial intelligence, particularly against China.
It will also steer AI development toward national security and economic competitiveness rather than what conservatives frequently criticize as politically driven priorities inside Big Tech.
“We’re leading China, we’re leading everybody, and I don’t want to do anything that’s going to get in the way of that lead,” Trump told reporters last week.
Bondi is the perfect choice to keep the U.S. the global leader in AI development, according to Vice President Vance.
“Pam has been an enormously valuable asset to the president’s team, and I’m thrilled for her and for all of us that she’s going to remain involved in confronting some of the most important issues the administration faces,” he said in a statement to Axios.
It’s great to have Bondi back. It’s also good to see her kick cancer’s ass.
