Democrats are experts at performative outrage. They manufacture it on demand, and use it to replace lawmaking that would actually benefit the country. But sometimes, even they go too far, and when they get put in their place, it’s a glorious thing to behold.
That happened over the Memorial Day weekend to Sen. Andy Kim (D-N.Y.), when he took his performative outrage against ICE just a little too far.
When most Americans were observing the occasion and hanging out with family and friends, this bozo was getting maced because he thought he could ‘demand’ access to a secure facility:

A Department of Homeland Security (DHS) spokesperson said Kim personally called Secretary Markwayne Mullin, and that he was allowed in the facility to conduct his congressional oversight responsibilities. However, the spokesperson criticized Sherrill over the appearance at the detention center.
“Governor Sherrill’s visit to Delaney Hall is nothing more than a political stunt on Memorial Day when visitation is currently suspended due to riots outside the facility,” the spokesperson told Fox News Digital.
“Yesterday, approximately 125 agitators surrounded Delaney Hall Detention Facility, many carrying anti-ICE signs and Antifa flags. They formed a human chain around entrances to the facility and set up barricades, blocking all entries and exits.”
Left-wing ‘activists’ were back at the facility on Monday, digging up stones and collecting trash to block the facility’s exit. They made sure to scream at ICE employees, too, for good measure.

Kim instructed the activists to allow the agents through the blockades, assuring them that there would be no detainees in the vehicles. As if he has any say in ICE operations.
At some point, however, officers had had enough and began macing the agitators. Looks like Kim got a dose of it himself.

For the record, this is the same facility loser Democrats invaded last year. The incident led to Rep. LaMonica McIver of N.J. to be indicted for shoving an ICE officer.
For the governor of New Jersey – that would be Mikey Sherrell – and a U.S. senator to spend Memorial Day fighting for people in the country illegally is a disgrace.
But that’s the Democrat Party – one big anti-American disgrace after another.
