We have been reporting on the FBI’s numerous operations against fraudsters, particularly in Minnesota, where these criminals have potentially defrauded American taxpayers of billions of dollars.
Most suspects were apprehended without incident; however, one individual, Muhammad Abdulqadir Omar, jumped from a fourth-floor balcony to escape. Unfortunately for him, he messed up one of his legs.
But now we learn that this creep has been apprehended by the Feds and is in custody awaiting his initial court date. Fox9 Minneapolis, has some video of Omar’s escape.
FBI Director Kash Patel made sure to mention Omar (gee – sound familiar?) by name:
A Minnesota suspect accused of perpetrating fraud was captured after fleeing from law enforcement, according to FBI Director Kash Patel.
“After today’s interagency press conference announcing 15 public healthcare fraud indictments in Minnesota, the below subject who fled when FBI executed today’s raid — Muhammad Omar — has now been arrested,” Patel announced in a Thursday post on X.
FBI Co-Deputy Director Christopher Raia had said during a news conference on Thursday that an individual fled after leaping from a fourth-story balcony.
“He is charged with healthcare fraud (18 U.S.C. § 1349, 18 U.S.C. § 1347) involving a Housing Stabilization Services company — with fraudulent claims for services not provided and diverting the proceeds for personal benefit,” Patel’s post stated regarding Omar. “Subject was located arrested within 2 hours.”
Outstanding.
Omar is involved in a fraud scheme that has so far stolen up to $90 million. This is just one of several fraud rings recently shut down by federal authorities.
It’s baffling to me that people who came from one of the worst dung heaps on the planet would try to cheat our system. Talk about repaying kindness.
But when Democrats whine about Trump’s deportation policies (and we know why they are) and claim ‘we’re a nation of immigrants,’ think of these fraud cases. If anyone is making the case for moratoriums on all immigration, it’s Ilhan Omar’s Somali colleagues.
