The Louisiana congressional maps have been officially released. Last night, the Supreme Court issued a decision in the Louisiana v. Callais case, which struck down the previous maps that limited the application of Section II of the Voting Rights Act (VRA). This decision allows for the creation of congressional districts based on racial quotas.
While the VRA has not been completely eliminated, the ruling does pave the way for redistricting across the South without the fear of legal challenges. The Callais case specifically involved a map that was initially struck down under the VRA. Although it was revised to create a majority-black district, this revision was also challenged, leading the Supreme Court to rule it unconstitutional. In America, you can’t do anything based solely on race; the Constitution makes that crystal clear, so it is astonishing to me that majority-black voting districts (created by Democrats for the benefit of Democrats, by the way) lasted as long as they did.
Now, with the new ruling in place that OKed Louisiana’s request to waive the traditional 32-day period between when a ruling is handed down from the high court to when it takes effect – giving the state the ability to pause its primaries so it can redraw its maps in a constitutional manner – came a stiff rebuke from Joe Biden’s DEI justice, Ketanji Brown Jackson, which then drew an even stiffer rebuke from Justice Samuel Alito.
Alito used legal and academic language to essentially call her an idiotic, foolish clown who has no idea what the Constitution and the law say. Mind you, the court’s other two liberals often dissent from the conservative majority, but Justices Elena Kagan and Sonia Sotomayor rarely join Brown’s dissents because they are rambling messes that make no sense:

It comes in mens and womens and lets your friends know you're happy to express your views and don't care what anyone thinks! Cheers!

Justice Alito fires back at Justice Jackson, calling her solo dissent “baseless and insulting” and “utterly irresponsible” after she accused the majority of abandoning principle for power.
They all realize KBJ’s completely incompetent. Even the liberals. The worst president in any of our lives, Joe Biden, also gave us the worst Supreme Court justice, KBJ, in any of our lives. Thanks, Joe. https://t.co/IMlcSYO63f

We're getting so close to Thomas or Alito accusing Ketanji Brown Jackson of writing her opinions in crayon. https://t.co/ngMySlQFmL

KBJ is single-handedly discrediting progressive jurisprudence for a generation
May she stay on the court for as long as she wants, writing lone, angry dissents https://t.co/3xJRDI6qgv

Joe Biden’s mind was going long before he even took office. We all know he wasn’t running jack sheet when he was in office, so KJB is someone else’s DEI hire for the Supreme Court (probably Barack Obama’s pick, to be honest).
But what an embarassment she has become, even to the court’s other two liberals. It’s clear she’s not there to be a Supreme Court justice, but to practice left-wing activism on the country’s highest court in a bid to discredit it. Shameful.
