On Sunday, Bill Melugin, a congressional correspondent for Fox News, reported that, according to his law enforcement sources, Cole Allen, the individual accused of attempting to breach security at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner (WHCD), was targeting not only President Donald Trump but also officials from the Trump administration.

Melugin also stated on X that Allen was no longer cooperating with law enforcement. Additionally, Fox News confirmed that Allen had booked a room at the Washington Hilton Hotel on Friday.
The story becomes increasingly creepy from this point onward. CBS News has reported that during a search of Allen’s hotel room, investigators discovered writings that law enforcement is currently reviewing as part of the ongoing investigation.

But the writings didn’t specifically mention the White House Correspondents Association Dinner, I’m told.
Authorities also found anti-Trump and anti-Christian rhetoric on his social media accounts.
There’s more. Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche has revealed that Allen traveled from Los Angeles to Washington, D.C. on an Amtrak train, carrying a shotgun, a handgun, and knives. Blanche currently believes that Allen acted alone; however, the investigation is still ongoing.

This marks the third attempt on President Trump’s life within a span of less than two years. As Allen’s writings may illustrate, if someone cannot reach the president directly, they might target an administration official close to him. Attacking even one official one degree away can disrupt not only the president but the entire administration and, ultimately, the nation.
Democrats need to pay a high price for this – them, and they’re sycophants in the ‘mainstream media’ who continue to portray Trump and his supporters as akin to Nazi and Soviet thugs. Until they do, they’re only going to continue to inspire lunatics to do acts of terror, and the odds are someone will be successful at some point.
