Dems Are Dangerously Close To Stealing the 2028 Election (And Beyond)

There have been very few news reports about the agreement being formed among blue states to bypass the Electoral College in future presidential elections. This week, Virginia’s unpopular governor, Democrat Abigail Spanberger, announced that the state has joined the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact. This compact commits Virginia to awarding its 13 electoral votes to whichever candidate wins the popular vote nationwide.

That should make every voter in the country extremely angry, regardless of your political persuasion.

To clarify, the compact doesn’t take effect right away. It will only come into play once enough participating states collectively hold 270 electoral votes, which is the magic number needed for a candidate to claim the presidency. Currently, the compact is just a few votes shy of that goal. If a handful more states join in, it could lead to significant changes.

This is why this underreported development is crucial at this moment, before the switch is flipped. Once enough left-leaning states sign on, voters in those states may wake up to find that the election results in their own state no longer dictate where their electoral votes go.

This situation feels like a major betrayal of the electorate. Additionally, it fits into a larger pattern. When Democrats find themselves at odds with the established rules, they often seek to change them. If the Electoral College obstructs their desired outcomes, they look for ways around it. When voters aren’t aligned with their agenda, they redefine which votes truly count. If the Constitution’s framework becomes an obstacle, they take aim at it directly and attack it.

Like Communists, in other words.

One of the most blatant insults to Virginians—and voters in other states that have joined this pact—is how it was orchestrated with astonishingly little public scrutiny. Most voters have no clue about what the compact involves, how it functions, or its potential impact on their ballots. This lack of awareness is deliberate; the less people understand it, the easier it is to frame it as a harmless procedural change rather than the covert attempt it truly is: a scheme to substitute the will of Virginia voters in presidential elections with the whims of a select few.

Let’s be clear: if Virginia votes for Candidate A, then Virginia’s electoral votes must go to Candidate A. Any other outcome is a blatant disregard for the voters’ mandate.

Supporters of the compact may insist that it is legal, but this argument is weak. Critics assert that it opens the door to constitutional challenges and undermines the foundational principles of our federal election system. While any legal conflict may drag on, the political and moral stakes are unmistakably clear: Virginia Democrats are claiming ownership of your vote, deciding arbitrarily how it should be assigned. This is unacceptable.

All Americans must pay close attention to this issue right now. It’s crucial to engage in discussions, ask questions, and ensure that your friends and neighbors fully understand what has been done in their name.

Once politicians convince voters that statewide election results are irrelevant, it erodes trust in the entire system—something that is already hanging by a thread, for obvious reasons (and all of them caused by Democrats).

This is a dangerous game they’re playing, and they are unreasonably confident that they will succeed.
