The White House went on offense against Rep. Jamie Raskin after the House Judiciary Committee’s top Democrat and his allies rolled out legislation to create a 17-member panel tasked with evaluating President Donald Trump’s mental and physical fitness under the 25th Amendment.
It’s the latest desperate move from the increasingly communistic Democrat Party that looks less like a serious constitutional effort and more like a political weapon—another attempt to sideline Trump through bureaucratic means after failing to do so at the ballot box.
The proposal, which would rely on a commission of physicians, psychiatrists, and former executive officials, is being framed by critics as an unprecedented expansion of unelected authority into presidential decision-making.
Man, Democrats really, really, really are trying to make you forget that less than two years ago, their party was stilly trying to get us all to believe that Joe Biden’s mind really wasn’t gone and he was just fine and dandy to serve another four years.
But no, it’s Trump who’s unfit to continue serving, you see. And why? According to Raskin, one of the most rank, partisan, left-wing hacks in Congress, it’s because Trump dared to follow through on decades’ worth of U.S. policy under various presidents from both parties that Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon. Oh, and also because he put up a silly meme on his Truth Social page.
And let’s not even get started on that one while Catholic nunes are being threatened with jail in New York because they won’t use made-up pronouns. And now, we’ve see the evidence that Biden’s DOJ weaponized federal law enforcement against pro-life activists. Yet I’m supposed to be blind-raging over a dude who constantly posts provocative memes posted something a little inapropriate – which he took down, explained, and then moved on…like we all should.
I digress – back to Raskin’s insanity.
“We have a solemn duty to play our defined role under the 25th Amendment by setting up this body to act alongside the Vice President and the Cabinet,” he said in a statement explaining why he wants to create the panel.
“Public trust in Donald Trump’s ability to meet the duties of his office has dropped to unprecedented lows as he threatens to destroy entire civilizations, unleashes chaos in the Middle East while violating Congressional war powers, aggressively insults the Pope of the Catholic Church, and sends out artistic renderings online likening himself to Jesus Christ.”
This is the third time Raskin has tried to pull this 25th Amendment BS and the Trump White house is fed up with the unseriousness of it all.
“Lightweight Jamie Raskin is a stupid person’s idea of a smart person,” White House spokesman Davis Ingle told Fox News Digital. “President Trump’s sharpness, unmatched energy, and historic accessibility stand in stark contrast to what we saw during the last administration, when Democrats like Raskin intentionally covered up Joe Biden’s serious mental and physical decline from the American people.”
